Interior design me...

WickyWack, 24 March, 2015 at 13:12 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 8

I am taking procrastination to the next level today so on to my next 'project'...

I've bought some lovely wallpaper from Laura Ashley - above..since I can't justify spending £80 on a bedding set to match, please find me one that goes with the wallpaper. I'd prefer a plain bedding set, rather than one with a print. I've also got some fabric the same as the wallpaper to make cushions with so this would make sense to have a plain one! Our bedroom furniture is bright white and our curtains are a shade darker than this green...

GO!

(thanks!) xx

You can never go wrong with crisp white bedding. Loves it.

Then 'throw' this (in a very neat and calculated haphazard way) over the bottom of your bed.

I also like that pop of pink hidden behind the other cushion. Do that!

Ooh yes, I love white bedding! I'm just hopeless at washing whites so things always turn out creamy grey Smiley sad same with towels! Ha.

If I had my way, all bedding would be crisp and white! Having said that, it's not always a good idea.

My lovely daughter who is now 24, once drew me a beautiful picture of a house, a tree, a sun and a cat on my brand new, fresh white sheets using my make-up.

Getting lipstick out of sheets is impossible!

I love that blue though - it's the colour we almost had on our living room walls until I finally convinced H that grey would look better lol

I have some lovely bedding that would go with that. It is crisp white with a narrow panel in the middle running across with pale blue and green ribbon. Matching duvet and pillows. Not much help as I can't remember where I bought the blasted stuff!

Another vote for white! You could get something with a subtle white pattern in, we have some that has a broderie anglaise strip across the top so there's still a bit of detail despite it being otherwise plain! Agree with SW about a throw too, love an artfully placed throw!

ha I don't turn my whites grey either (well maybe if they're years old) just a 40 wash n scoop of vanish whitening....that's my women's hour contribution!
