Intro with flashes

Hi not been on hitched long as only started planning at the end of July but with the wedding on NYE thought I'd say an official hello!

Venue (currently shut due to floods down the driveway though not in the hotel -praying for sun!)

Dress (2nd one - bought 1st and had a major wobble!)

Tiara and Cuff

Cakes

Wedding cake is carrot on bottom, chocolate in middle and vanilla on top. Cheese cake is similar to this in design but a couple of different cheeses.

    Fingers crossed for you on the flood front! We are the 29th Dec and the river is a little close as well! Have you bought some wellies ? It all looks stunning

    Thanks girls, was very lucky with the dress as Benjamin Roberts keep some in stock! Going to get favours tonight - mini bottles of Port to go with the cheesecake.

    Not got wellies yet but I think I need to look. Hopefully us december brides will not have any more rain. A little bit of snow would be lovely for pictures tho.

    We are getting married in the same place! Smiley smile Im dec 2013 wedding, totally gutted about the flooding but it was only the driveway and hotel - PHEW! Smiley smile

    Nice to see another local lady to me! I went to your venue a few weeks ago for the wedding fayre and commented on the river then. Didn't think it would actually flood a couple of weeks later! Hope it goes down soon.

    I hadn't thought about it to be honest, until i say the pics of the after i spent a weekend at home in Northern Ireland Smiley sad Looking forward to using the venue though, it just so lovely..

    We didn't think about the river either. This was the first venue we saw and fell in love with it, OH didn't want to look anywhere else. The wedding co-ordinator rang me to cancel our appt and said they had a couple of soggy carpets but the drive was the main problem. We have rescheduled for this week so will let you know how it looks!

    Kirstabubble - Our cheesecake is from our local deli and they have been amazing. We had a tasting session to decide on what cheeses we wanted then got the pics off google images (which is the picture above) and then had a play around stacking them up. We have some different cheeses to the one in the photo but the style is similar. It will be going on the evening buffet with pickles, crackers and bread. Can you tell I love my food!

    Everything look lovely, I especially like your venue. And the cheese cake looks yummy - it's making me hungry for cheese, but it's probably a bit early in the morning for that...
