invitation advice needed *flash*

tash&ste, 27 April, 2015 at 16:08 Posted on Planning 0 15

About to send out invites, decided to wrap twine around to keep everything together (we are having a rustic wedding). Does this look crap? Should I send without it?

I like it - a lot of people are using twine at the moment.

Will it fit into envelopes though?

I'm not sure it really goes with the invites if I'm honest.

The colour hasn't shown up on the pic; they're pale blue and browny in colour. They look more rustic in real life. The actual invitation (rather than RSVP card) suits the twine better but I couldn't be bothered with covering all our personal details to take a piccy.

Make sure the knots don't make the envelopes too bulky and tip you over the width limit for normal postage.

Looks perfect for a rustic wedding and brings it all together nicely. Just ditto the comment about postage! Where did you get your invites from if you don't mind me asking?

Another option is raffia ribbon which it still rustic, but gives a nicer bow. If you've already bought the twine though, use that.
