Personally I'd want to send them out sooner to give time for rsvp's. When do you have to give final numbers to venue/caterers? Can you use someone else who can make the same design quicker?

If it's ok in terms of notice for the venue, and people are generally aware of the date/location then sending them late Feb (lets say by 1 March) with a 1 April RSVP date would be fine I think. Don't forget to factor in a week for you to write names and envelopes etc

Have you had a sample from this person? Do you know you are happy with the how they are going to be? If not, I have to say I'd look elsewhere. If you have then I think it should be fine.

Thanks vicster you made me calm down abit lol was really stressing then.

its 3 weeks before for minimum numbers but can add extras up to 4 dys before (i think)

We have to have minimum already so can alway bump evening people up for a meal so i dont think that should be a problem.

TBH most people already know about it anyway

already had a sample. so thats not a problem.

Wont really need to post many invites out .most can be hand delivered.

its only 23 day invites and 35 evening ones

do you think i should be ok then ?

If she will guarantee that you will have them by, lets say, 14 Feb then I would be happy. As long as she is really clear on how precise your timing is then I think that sounds good.

Have you sent save the dates or do most of your guests know your date? If so, it should be fine as long as she can absolutely guarantee it won't take any longer.

    Don't stress.

I know Christmas is a busy busy time for us stationers so I'm really not suprised if you have only just ordered them.

I have quite a few april weddings and they are not going out until January (I always recommend staying well clear of Christmas to send invites out as they just get lost in all of the Christmas cards. Even when hand delivering!! You want your invites to take pride of place on the mantle piece etc and not lost amongst the dozens of Christmas cards your guests will receive ?

I hope this helps setlle your mind a bit

    Nat

I have had little contact with my late husband's family. We are getting married next year in church and are inviting my partners sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and great neices and nephews making a total of 24 guests. I would say on such a happy occasion invite them if you feel you can afford to. It is your day I know, but I am sure you would feel much better for it - anyway they may not wish or are unable to attend.
