Invitation wording help!

GeordieBarbie, 25 September, 2009 at 20:29 Posted on Planning 0 4

Arrgghh! Help!

We're trying to word our wedding invites and are going round in circles!

The invites are from ourselves and the design we want has our names at the top and want to write the persons name on the invite so needs to start something like this...

Barbie & Ken

invite

...................................

Blah blah

Thanks!

There are loads of examples on the net, we had...

    Barbie and Ken

Request the pleasure of the company of

    Guest & Guest

    To celebrate their marriage

    at CHURCH, TOWN

    on DATE

    at TIME

Followed by a reception at VENUE, TOWN

    RSVP to blah blah

Looking at that now it does look a bit too formal, but I literally copied and pasted from a web example.

Hi. I found this website, it has loads of examples, it can help to identify what tone you want to set.
