Invitation wording help please

Hello, I am trying to come up with the wording for my invites. They will be from us (Me & OH) so I need something along the lines of C & K request the pleasure of the company of 'blah' to join in the celebration of our wedding. But the first bit doesnt make a lot of sense, and I just can't find the right wording, but I need to be able to insert peoples names.

We went with something more informal:

Dear.............

Simon and Jude would like you to join them to celebrate their wedding

on 22nd October at 1pm

At <venue>

But then our whole wedding is fairly informal.
