I made our own save the dates (will be making our own invitations too but not reached that stage yet!).

I made magnets using Microsoft word, photograph papaer, sheets of magnet from ebay and teabags. I also made a card containing info about hotels etc to send them out with.

What ideas you thinking of for your invites? I have no clue where to start with ours!

    Hiya

we are making our own invites and I simply goodled pink and black wedding invites and got lots of inspiration off there.

I'm off to hobbycraft next week to get all the bits but will be keeping it really simple but effective something like this which has a pocket inside for all the bits of card which will have info on as well as the actual invitation.

If you have any crafty friends get them to help!

I downloaded my images from fotalia, my fonts were downloaded for free from dafont and I bought my card and paper supplies from PDA Card & Craft. Odd bits like ribbon etc. came from eBay.

Hobbycraft are v. expensive in comparison.

My invitation supplies were from The Handcrafted Card Company.

I designed my monograms myself and had them made into Rubber stamps at https://www.englishstamp.com/. Stamping supplies (ink, embossing powder, heat gun etc) were all from eBay.

My invites were just done on the computer by my dad and a graphics programme. It depends on what you are looking for and how much you want to spend. Places like Vistaprint tend to offer templates to choose from and then you can customise so much, then they will print them and post them to you.
