Invitations & other stationary...

Mrs C, 24 October, 2010 at 10:27 Posted on Planning 0 44

I am in the process of designing all my stationary today and keep getting stuck (I'm so fussy!!!)

Would you flash me your stationary or your inspiration...?

Oooo i found a mock of my invitation the other day.........but its pretty boring...

they did look better in RL.......

and my save the dates were wee slips put in xmas cards

and.... the bus slips and menus - dont think I have pics of those but they were all art deco etc

and then all put in a brown (olde worlde) C5 envelope, along with the info sheet.....

Meant to say, the invitation was a nice cream paper on a navy blue card which had a slight sparkle to it.

    Thanks girls.

Teehee - I love how simple and classy yours are... maybe I am trying too hard to make something complicated!!!

Eliza - I love yours too. I was getting all my card and pockets from PDA too... Thank you for sending over the graphics too, they are one of the designs I am playing with now!!!

Ok have been working on the main invitation part (will be a pocketfold in iridescent white card...)

Attempt number 1... still a little rough around the edges...

Attempt number 2... again still a work in progress...

Have just got them back as a sample actually and am thrilled with them. The website is http://www.kellygeesondesigns.co.uk/ and the one I chose is in the flock collection. She will match any colour you like.

Don't be silly Teehee... yours looked really classy and fitted your theme perfectly!

I have a really old version of photoshop from when I was at art college... and a really helpful friend called Eliza!!!

See I like them both too, they are very different.

These are mine from Hiptwist Wedding Stationery: www.hiptwist.co.uk/pavane.html (I tried to upload a photo of from my computer but couldn't, so this is the link!) I had them in dark pink and they were gorgeous, everyone commented on them :-)

Claire or sb - what does the back of those invitations look like? Just wondering how the ribbon is fixed not to show.

Right I have started to have a play with the pocketfold sample, mostly on plain paper at the moment... what do you think so far?

(sorry the pictures are so dark...)

    Front

    Main invitation

    Inserts

It will all be printed on this sparkly paper...

I like the pale orchids on the additional info and RSVP, not too sure on the main invitation bit yet - that needs more work.

I feel like the front needs something but not sure what, ribbon? Is it too bland???
