    They look great.

I am just starting to do mine ... but as I am not that creative I might end up getting some made! For some reason I am struggling with the wording!!

Aw wow! Those are fantastic. How long did it take you to make one? Is that lace at the bottom? They are really lovely. Well done you!

Not really sure how long it has taken me as it has been work in progess getting sizing right etc. I am hoping that 4-5 evenings will get them sorted, Got h2b on sticking duties.

Yeah that is lace at the bottom. I am really pleased with how they have turned out. I copied any idea from a seller on ebay that was charging £3.50 each (well worth it though as they are time consuming). I have bought all the materials for £45 to make 100, although I am doing the printing at work (prob the most expensive part).

    xx

    Of course....

I used a website called http://www.twiddleys.co.uk/..... really quick delivery and the cheapest by far. Although you have to spend a minimum amount (£25) and you have to buy in packs of 25-50 so you can't just do a sample. You have to order all at once.

I ordered the lace and ribbon from ebay (also very reasonable). The inserts are printed on cream paper (a thick paper from twidderlys) and the stuck onto card inserts (from twiddleys already cut to size).

The inserts simply slot inside the pocket, I used a hole punch to create a hole to thread the ribbon at the top. The decoration on the front was really simple. The hearts are sliders (ebay£5 for 100) which you literally thread onto the ribbon. I used double sided sticky tape to stick the ribbon and lace down.

For the writing on the front (wedding invitation) i printed them on cream card.... then backed them on pearlescent cream card. I then used sticky pads to attach them to the card so that it gave it a slight 3d effect.

Think thats about it. All relatively simple but quite time consuming at first untill you get your head around it.

Oh... I also used a guillotine (borrowed from where i work). This makes it so much easier, neater and quicker.

    xx

They look amazing, I was going to to make something along those lines but I ran out of patience very quickly, and ended up designing them on the pc and just printing them, I am still very proud of how they have turned out.
