If you were getting married abroad and having a party on your return, how would you word the invite? Wedding invitation and evening invitation somehow dont seem right? or are they?

I would call it a wedding celebration, only some invitations are for longer than others

I don't think you have to put those words in the invitation, just write something to invite them to the party, as they would have probably know that you are getting married abroad. just do as normal wedding invitation, exclude the ceremony part
