I am a complete technophobe, but I do remember reading advice to wait for the 2ns generation iphone, as it should have all the kinks from the first one ironed out by then...

Not sure how helpful that is, and I'm also sure thousnads of people are using their 1st generation phoje very happily - but it gave me some comfort in not being able to afford it at the time ?

The iphone is quite good, my OH paid £185 about a month ago.

For internet, music, movies/programmes - good times.

So phone signal...bad times, it sounds quite distant sometimes and cuts out during the call!

My iphone has a tendancy for cutting out mid call. H's doesn't seem to have that problem though. Other than that I love it - it's super easy to use. Also I'm not sure what the contracts are like you get with them as I'm still on an old contract and H is on PAYG

Thanks for the info. I am prob being completely dim but like I asked can u plug in earphones and listen to music while in the gym with it or would you still need a nano?

I don't see why not. I have earphones for mine but never have used them - I just play it out loud [:I] Someone may correct me though
