iphones

missdeedee, 24 May, 2010 at 10:28 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

My phone contract is coming up for renewal and I'm thinking of going for an iphone. Anyone that already has one, how do you rate it? Or does anyone have any other suggestions for good phones?

Thanks

Go for it!! I love mines!! At first it takes a wee bit getting used to but once you get the hang of it you will never look back.

Sony have one to match the Iphone which my SIL has but has had nothing but bother with it!

Thanks Lou, I've had a look at some other phones but didn't really see anything that I liked!

Another vote for the iPhone there is nothing out there at the moment that could rival it.

My upgrade was due 2 months ago and I had a good look around (used to work in mobiles...must be the geek in me!!)

Unlimited free internet - great for fb and hitched

Large screen - good for pics & videos

Touch screen - no more sticking buttons

Fairly easy syncing up with itunes.

I upgraded from iphone 3G to the 3GS. when is your upgrade due? there is a new one due out end of july xx

The only thing I'd say against them is that the battery life is a bit poor so if you're going to be using your phone a lot e.g. if you travel a lot for business you might be better off looking at something else. I've got an ipod touch for fun and a nokia e71 for work!

I agree with what your saying about the battery but i just charge mines everynight. Simples. Its all the web browsing that kills the battery.

Thanks ladies, I have a blackberry pearl for work so don't need to use my phone for that. The battery on my own phone just now is rubbish and I need to charge it every could of days anyway, so I could cope with that!

My hubby has one & would not be without it.

Prepare to have NO social life for a while though as you will be way too busy finding apps for it.. If there had been an app for divorce I would have quite happily got him to download it, when he first got his phone Smiley smile
