Hi, Unfortunately I can't recommend bands in London but if you contact your local irish centre they may be able to help. Also check the Irish post.

I'm of Irish heritage too so we are having an Irish music trio for our first band - they play everything from Fairytale of New York to Fields of Athenry. I know this will go down well with my parents/aunts/uncles etc but also with lots of my cousins - we've always attended Irish clubs etc.

    Hope you find someone.

Also lots of Irish pubs have live music so check them out. Also has the advantage that you can go to see the band if you're thinking of booking them. We did this and we're really pleased.
