is any1 dressing there bridesmaid different??

sammi23, 21 May, 2012 at 13:06 Posted on Planning 0 4

I had 1 adult and 2 children as b/maids, yesterday this changed!! (best friend lives in oz and couldnt afford flights, now her parents have suprised her with flights for her birthday!!!)

I now have 2 adults and 2 children!! was thinking of leaving the little ones in ivory with pink then putting my new BM in an ivory dress with pink sash and leaving my CBM in her pink dress.

Do you think the 2 adults should be the same? We have about 4 weeks to get it sorted so that she can be fitted as soon as she arrives but have pretty much nil left budget wise! On another thought though i dont want new BM to look odd as she not in same as CBM.

Please help!!!

If your happy with them being in different ones then thats all that matters ? I have 3 adult BM's and they are all in slightly different styles, all same material and colours though

I say go for it! I want my 3 bridesmaids in diferent colours completely but unfortunatley can't find what I want so am having to rethink. But I think it looks really nice when you have similarities AND differences throughout the dresses.

and the way you describe it sounds lovely

I have three in black chiffon and one in satin. Then a little one in ivory satin with a black sash! Hopefully it will look ok.

Yes, I think that will work. I ended up with only 2 bridesmaids (MOH and a child, not related to each other ). My MOH was in a pink dress, my child one in an ivory with a pink sash. So yes Ivory with a pink sash would work too and also differentiates the MOH out from the other ones (assuming the MOH is the one in the pink dress)

    I say go for it!
