Is anyone having a suitcase or box for cards??

Jlo84, 5 January, 2012 at 20:35 Posted on Planning 0 4

Hi, I picked up a bargain vintage suitcase type thing for the guests to put their cards in and I have seen lots of pictures with bunting spelling the words cards on individual flags. Has anyone made these or can help? Thanks, Jen

Yes we are, actually had a bit of luck, my father works in a theatre, so managed to raid the props store room ! -

Just going to print the individual letters on card and hang it, shouldn't be too difficult I hope !

I have just ordered individually cut wooden letters to use instead as I am useless with arts and crafts!! Good luck

Hi. Yes, We're having a suitcase for cards (inspired by CB (thank you!) and also lots of good'uns on google). I'm using my grandmas suitcase who unfortunately is too frail to make it to our wedding. So it's a lovely way to include a bit of her Smiley smile

I just printed out letters to save £££. Sorry it's not a great pic.

    Hi

I didnt have a suitcase, but to fit in with our tea vintage theme, we had a basket with gingham trim and a teapot shaped chalk board with the words "cards please"
