I've been thinking about this for the past few minutes (cuppa time!) and I think one of the main issues I have with it is the name. Since I was about 7, I don't think I've ever referred to sweets as sweeties.

Hmmm. It's the name. Odd but true.

We're not having one either, although there will be quite a few kids at our wedding. Will be having chocolates and love hearts as little favours though. x

We're not having one because we've got so many kids at our wedding! Can't imagine anything worse for my poor friends and family than their kids having free access to so many sweets. They can make do with skidding on their knees across the dancefloor!

No I'm not! I like the idea but there will b chocolate favours and cake for desert in the evening, and hyperactive kids with sticky fingers isnt something I want to encourage!

Im having a candy kart, a wooded cart with candy striped cutain thing and it will have 'mcgorms candy kart' on a little hanging sign, its so nice and is filled with jars of sweets, personalised lollies, macaroon and tablet and personalised bags for people 2 help themselves.

The pic makes it look a bit crapo but its relly nice lol

Not my thing at all. It all seems a bit 'Pizza Hut' (picture the ice cream machine there with all the grubby little fingers taking handfuls) or children's Birthday party. I can imagine parents hearts sinking on seeing them - kids getting hyperactive on preservatives and sugar, eating too many then not eating their dinner, eating more, running around all over the place then throwing up. Ugh. Sorry.

I'm not having one! Don't particularly want one, plus OH's sister had one and we are trying to make our wedding as different to hers as possible ?

We aren't having one either. I am putting out decanters full of port and whisky around the house though for guests to help themselves too.
