Is it acceptable to sending out thank you gifts after the honeymoon?

rugelapa303, 2 May, 2012 at 10:45 Posted on Planning 0

I want to send out a few gift cards etc for certain people attending my wedding. We're not doing speeches and even if we were, I personally would rather someone didn't give me that on the night of a wedding as I'd more than likely lose it! Lol. Is it acceptable to send them out when I get back from the honeymoon along with everyone's thank you cards?

If it's for people who have helped out with your day like mums, dads, bestman, BM's, ushers etc, then I would prob give them their presents on the day.

We gave BM, ushers & BM's their gifts on the morning then the rest of the party we did with the speeches. If your not having speeches then is there a way you could pull them all to one side for 5 mins on the day to give them to them. Remember they will be a very big part of your day helping in every way so a little thank you from you both on the day would be nice rather than two weeks after the event.
