They even worked on my bridesmaid dresses, which I'd bought from a different shop, when the other shop c0cked up the alterations.

I second Mel's recommendations for West End Florists for real flowers and Celebrations in Ossett - the girls at Celebrations are brilliant at what they do and there aint nothing they don't know about fraud, fake and dodgy gownsellers!

I am using Cartwright cars, leeds- they do fab deals. Turners florist, hunslet- beautiful bouquets and buttonholes for less than£100. Farsley brides- amazing dresses not too pricey, if you order bm dress there aswell they do it cheap. Sorry I haven't put links etc up, but if you google it will all come up.

I am really undecided about cars - we're not overly keen on vintage cars and I have already looked into something like a VW Beetle as an alternative but im a bit reluctant to pay the same price for modern car as a vintage car iyswim.

I am an East Yorkshire bride! Hull to be precise (although originally from Lincoln)

I have used alot of Hull based suppliers so not sure if thats too far for you? Have you thought about evening entertainment yet? Not sure exactly what you're looking for but we have just booked a fab DJ who is from Leeds. He was super lovely and came to our house to meet us to discuss every aspect of our night. We are having a kareoke package because it is very in-keeping with our friends and family (were all show offs!) but they do alot of different things including live sets, wedding choreography and even dancers!

They are called Get Wed and they have a website - if you type that in Google i think it should just come up!

Whilst I'm here...anybody else near Hull by ay chance??
