Is this twee?

drifter, 20 September, 2010 at 10:49 Posted on Planning 0 12

So we have lovely brown luggage tags for our place names (saves us the trouble of designing and printing and scoring our own) and we want to put some ribbon on to jazz them up but the question is do we go for green with polka dots to match the cake and OOS or do we go for message ribbon that says

laugh often, sit long, talk much? photos below

we have the green ribbon with cream spots. (OH is worried the word ribon is a bit twee)

So what do you think?

Oh I love the word ribbon!!! That would work really well with your brown luggage tags and be a nice talking point amongst guests.

Ribbon is never twee, its usuage may alter, but it never goes out of fashion.

You could always use one for the guys and one for the gals? I like them both!

I have some of that ribbon, Bridebrat. Why has it suddenly got so expensive though?

High demand I think, it goes out of stock really quickly on the Cox & Cox website. I've seen half rolls go quite reasonably on eBay.. I looove it though Smiley smile
