It's about time

To share your plans, kids. W'gwan this weekend?

Tonight I am mainly going home - on time - and drinking wine on my sofa. Or I may go out for dinner. Or I may go to the pub. But I'll probably go home, am tired and have weird hair. Tomorrow I'm off to Ascot (in a pretty new Oasis dress) with a group of mates and Sunday I'm going to a lovely mate's house for a big roast dinner with some other lovely mates and their kids. Hoorah.

Mr Boop is away in Belgium with 4 teenage girls this weekend so I am home alone.

A friend is coming over for wine and takeaway this evening.

Tomorrow will be spent walking the dogs, doing college work and perhaps a bit of shopping.

Sunday I'll be teaching agility all day as normal. Mr Boop should be home around 8pm - assuming his crew make the final. If not, he'll be home about lunchtime!

Tonight is friday big shop, followed by a drink and a take-away. Saturday we're off to the Real Food Show (no more pretend food for us), and sunday I'm seeing my folks, while G&T is getting a visit from her aunt and nan. She's supposed to be finishing her staff appraisals and I should be writing up teh next module of my diploma, but I can't see either of these happening !

[R's alert] Did you see that guy in the paper that changed his name to Queens Park Rangers - bet his wife was delighted. ? Also, there was the big come-get-me from Adel Taarabt. Not that I'm already thinking about next season. ?

I am mostly waiting in for window replacement people who aren't coming, and waiting to hear from my dentist who doesn't have my nice, new, clear retainer. And not doing my assignment for uni which has to be in tonight. What a crap day off work! It is the last day of my first semester though, which feels good, or it will when my XML works and the assignment is submitted.

Tomorrow we are going on holiday. Woo!

Edited to add I can't believe I forgot to mention that someone is coming to exchange our gas meter today too ?

And the people who are buying our house want to look at it again, so having relaxed the 'show home'-ness since accepting their offer, I've had to clean it up again. Gah.

Mostly shopping (food and garden, nothing fun), bullying Mr FtG to get his hair cut, buying geraniums at the annual geranium sale (woohoo - we rock round here), planting out the lettuces, maybe going to see Star Trek, and cleaning in preparation for the arrival of the parents.

Next weekend is the fun one. Next weekend all the wine producers n the area open their doors for a massive free wine tasting. Free buses run around the vineyards, so you can get to the next one without driving, there is always loads of food (lots of foie gras for some reason), loads of music, and a good, drunken time is had by all. I can't wait.

I'm hopefully going to convince the OH that going to the cinema tomorrow night to watch the new Star Trek film is a good idea, he's not keen but the kids are looking fotrward to it as well. Apart from that I fully intend to have a lie-in on Sunday as I haven't had one for two weeks, it's killing me.

Well my antibiotics feel like they are finally working so I'm feeling brighter today. My friend has a spare ticket for We Will Rock You and has asked me if I want to go tonight so I'm going to let her know at lunchtime to see how I feel.

If I survive tonight (I really want to go) then I'll be singing in a concert tomorrow and then chilling out in prep for going back to work after a week off.

I am sitting in today waiting for a delivey and being beaten by a small child.

Tonight I'm going out for dinner and drinks with friends I haven't seen since Christmas.

Tomorrow I will visit my aunt and then my Grandad.

Sunday is my birthday and I think we are going out for lunch as a family.

All in all it's shaping up to be a lovely weekend.

I have the day off today so I'm cleaning the house and getting our clothes ready for packing as we're off on holiday on Monday night. Tonight I'm meeting two friends for dinner and a catch-up which I'm really looking forward to.

Tomorrow I am going to get my bikini line waxed. I can barely cintain my excitement. Then I'm picking my Dad up from Heathrow and he's staying the night. I'll probably cook something for dinner.

Sunday, we're going for a ride around Richmond Park with a friend, as training for the London to Brighton bike ride next month. Then we'll be packing.

Now I feel disorganised; we're off tomorrow lunchtime and I haven't even got my holiday/ summer clothes out of the loft yet! I am going to town later to get flip flops and factor 50.

    Where are you off to?

I can't tell you where I'm going because it's Top Secret but I am going away with three friends for my best friends birthday weekend. I can probably tell you that we will be getting very drunk but I don't think I needed to tell you that. ?

    Yipee for weekends.

Tonight we were supposed to be going out but MrPod is now working. That's probably good as we wouldn't be able to go anyway. We need to keep the SMan under observation. I've just had to do an emergency dash to the vets. While MrPod was walking him this morning he ate unknown tablets so has had doggy stomach pumping.

Tomorrow getting eyes tested in the morning and new specs if necessary. In the afternoon going to Quins Semi Final .Soooooooooo excited. We have posh tics too. All the better. Depending on the result will decide tomorrow night.

Sunday, dog walk with friends, then dinner for family bday in the evening.

Sat and Sun are reliant on the dog being OK but the vet thinks he'll be grand <touch wood>

We'll be getting packed for holiday-bobs too. My bag is pretty much sorted but need to re-do H's. We were meant to be going to Mexico but now off to Koh Samui.

Sunday we'll watch the Manchester derby. H will also be preparing for 2 final interviews - there's the faintest of hopes he'll have a job before we go away....which would be bloody fantastic.

Ooh, lovely. We're off to Fuerteventura, last minute all inclusive. I can't wait! I've never done all inclusive before but it sounds amazing ? The husband can be a bit annoying on holiday with wanting to be fed constantly so I'm hoping to do nothing but lie on the beach reading. Bliss.

Tonight is my birthday and my friend has gone into labour this morning so I'm hoping she'll oblige and have her child today - I'm on the rota for babysitting her little girl so I shall be watching Charlie and Lola? MrS is away (boo!) but has left lots of lovely goodies for me (yay!)

Tomorrow I shall be doing my walk then cleaning my poor bike which hasn't had a good wash in months. Then fitting my new tailpack that MrS bought me for my birthday.

Sunday don't know yet. Might do some therapeutic cooking.

We're staying right on the caldera edge in Fira. I am so excited about it. Our room has a balcony looking out to sea. And at this time of year it should be a bit quieter. *sigh*

It will def be a bit quieter - we usually go late May and although Santorini, Fira especially, will be busy with cruise visitors during the day, it really quietens down in the evenings when they go back to their ships.

Don't miss a trip to Oia though, it's very quaint (winding streets and no cars/mopeds) and you can see the sunset from the ruined castle right on the point. The views into the caldera and across to Fira are great too. We have only ever spent a day in Fira as we love Oia so much - if you can be bothered to walk down the cliff (and you should!) there's a fab fish restaurant at the bottom. Fishermen eat there too - you can see them tie up their boats, unload and hand over the fish to the chef. Then he cooks it and it's on your plate! Literally 10 mins after coming off the boat (they are just small boats that fish each morning). Walk round to the left from there and snorkel in the tiny cove. The water is so clear and the fish are amazing!

    Enjoy!

Tonight i am going to the pics with a girlfriend as our men are having a boozy night in.

Tomorrow i need to do boring things like go to the bank to try and sort out claiming back money from a credit card for a holiday that we have lost, then tomorrow night we're going to a 21st birthday party.

Sunday H is off work, we're dog sitting for my aunty and so weather permitting we plan on a big walk in the country and maybe pub lunch.

Bit of shopping tomorrow morning, a few chores on the High St (Post Office, bank, nothing exciting) and then a dog walk if my foot is up to it.

Then all change on Sunday. I've got a rehearsal. Yep - I'm back acting again after a two year break and attempting to pop my Shakespeare cherry with a small part in The Taming of the Shrew. What's cool about this production is it's not actually in the theatre but is an outdoor tour and we'll be performing it in the grounds of various stately homes around the West Midlands. So I'm nervous but excited and hoping it's going to be a lot of fun.

I have to admit though, I really didn't think I'd ever go back to acting ... it's taken me all a bit by surprise!

POD, I hope Scooby Dooby Doo dog feels better soon, lovely ?

Tonight will be quiet, wine and Wossy, tomorrow I'm getting my haircut and poss buying a new dress or top, then in the evening we'll have takeaaway and more vino. Sunday we'll probs do something with the kids if it ever stops bloody raining!

But next weekend, oh next weekend, my mum is having the children from Friday to Sunday, it will be the first time I've been childfree for a whole weekend in THREE LONG YEARS! To say I can't wait would be a bit of an understatement, oh to wake up naturally and not have to jump out of bed immediately because a toddler is shouting for her breakfast <sigh>

Tonight i'm out for a few drinks with the girls from the office, then meeting up with H who is out at training followed by a few drinks. Then tomorrow it's Liberation Day over here so all the shops are shut - but all the bars and restaurants are open so we're off out with my best mate and her OH who we haven't seen in ages for a nice long boozy lunch (apart from H who won't be drinking much at all).

Sunday H is off to do rescue cover at the local hill climb all day, i'll be taking it easy, trying to so some washing etc then out to the shops (which are open specially on sunday for once) and will probably do a roast of some description Sunday night to round the weekend off nicely.

Should be a good one ?

The OH is away climbing mountains this weekend so I'm making the most of some quiet time - am knackered after the first week in my new job. Thinking of a quiet night tonight with nice food and telly, then a long swim and sauna etc tomorrow and out on the town with some girlfriends. I expect Sunday will be spent recovering!
