So it's just over two weeks to go and all my homemade bits and pieces are starting to come together. I hope it'll all work out!
OK, so shoes. Yes, I will be using the bright blue ones but they're actually impossible to walk in with a wedding dress, so these are my primary shoes:
These are my BM shoes (I am not very tall so they need to be flat!), but I'm thinking of getting a pair for myself for the evening.
This is my jewellery (the idea with the ribbons is that they fall behind the ear and so the whole thing looks like it's been tied on ...)
My ER and WR
Here's my cake toppers again, just because I love them! I won my wedding cake and so I'll have to leave these out for her to set up.
And so on to the stationery. You've seen some of these bits before:
the STD
the invitation
the OoS front page
Here's the OoS in its cover and a pillow box that will have church-approved dried flower confetti in it (just a small handful each)
Still being finished now are the place cards (waiting on a delivery of spotty ribbon in the same blue and white polka dot that's elsewhere - most expensive ribbon I've ever bought, sourced by my wonderful cake maker)
And the table plan, which is not at all done and is causing me some problems. I need a backing fabric, and I saw the inverse polka dot (so white fabric with small blue dots). Which I think might work?
And finally the table plan with the corresponding tags that will be tied to the jam jars on each table. I'm hoping that it's obvious enough for the guests! If not, well, there's only 6 tables and they've got the whole drinks reception to work it out
I'll have nothing new to show you in my wedding report at this rate!

edit:
OK so I got the spotty fabric and think the table plan is much improved because of it - but still work in progress!
I did however stop by the market today and spied this little crate and it inspired this:
No idea where I'm going to put this, maybe over the cake table, but I really like how it turned out:
H2B's suit and tie
More plans coming along. I won this wedding cake (but 3 tiers, slightly bigger and fewer daisies and spotty blue ribbon)
I was planning to make my own cake, and my nan had already made the top tier when I found out about the cake, so I have iced hers (my cake maker kindly gave me the details of the blue ribbon so it matches)
My mum has made the flowergirl dresses - the fabric was £1 a metre, the beads and headbands were from accessorise in the sales and cost £3 for the lot. Bargainous! I think the sash is going to be made slightly narrower.
