That tree looks amazing flow! We'll put up the tree today if we get time but we have special Christmas mugs for mulled wine and plates for mince pies (we're a bit sad like that) that we'll definitely get out today!

Glad I'm not the only one! Oh and we'll probably put the Christmas duvet cover on the spare bed today too. I love decorating the house for Christmas more than I like actual christmas. I'm also a big fan of tinsel. It's a must.

Looks great! We are doing ours on Tuesday as it's OH's only day off this week. I'm ashamed to say that last year our tree was up in november!! It was our first year living together and we got excited, that's my excuse Smiley winking

It's more wintery than christmassy but it has a festive feel. This is a picture of it from last year. I bought it from primark last year - I'm not sure if they are doing them again?

I haven't got mine up yet - not until the 9th. I usually put it up later but I'm working a lot over the next few weeks.

I will have to come back with a flash once they're up Smiley smile

Primark have got festive bedding in this year, I saw it last week. Although I'd rather pull my own eye balls out than tackle primark again this side of Christmas!

    Wow, Flow, that's some tree!

    Here's our tree:

Bit sparce on the old light front as H snapped one set of lights trying to untangle them.

    Here's our front porch too:

Advent tree?! Is that like a special tree that you have until the normal Christmas tree comes out?

Advent tree is a small (tabletop sized) wooden cut out tree and every day in December we open a drawer of the advent "calendar" and hang the enclosed little wooden decoration on the tree. Oh that's a rubbish explanation. Will try to photograph.

    That sounds lovely AC!

My house currently looks like a building site, no space for a tree Smiley sad need to book a day off to tidy and sort out downstairs.

Mrmini has been really poorly today so we haven't put our tree up as he can't get into the loft. I'm very jealous of all your trees.

Lovely trees everyone! I won't be putting mine up until next week and will flash away. I bought lots of decorations in the Jan sales last year, so it's been a surprise for me when I've got them out! I'm quite excited and plan to go all out, since this is our first proper Christmas ourselves, as last year we'd not really moved in so didn't bother with lots of decs.

I have the 'festive' bedding from Primark too, not too Christmassy but it still looks wintery I think:

    Homemade Christmas tree:

Workmade Christmas tree (yes those are bananas - we don't have any decorations yet so made do with fruit!):
