It's Friday - time for the Good/Bad Weekly thread

Good - 2 people have now told me I look like I have lost weight

Bad - I haven't actually lost any weight

Good - it was payday this week

Bad - I have spent all wages on clothes for Paris trip and a Valentine gift for OH

Good - one week closer to half term

Bad - still 2 week til half term

Good: Bridemsaid night tonight (curry banquet, booze & trying on their dresses (before curry!))

Bad: SOOO Skint as payday not until tuesday

GoodH tiled the hall way floor this week (he's only just moved in recently & he is a tiler so he feels like he's putting his stamp on the house before the big task of the bathroom )

Bad: feeling a bit chunky

Bad: CBA with work at all.

Good: in a good mood with the wedding x

Good - It's OH's birthday today so we're going out for a lovely meal later.

Good - Got my draft invitation through yesterday and I love it!

Bad - OH isn't as keen ☹️

Bad - I'm working tomorrow

Good - Seeing the family on Sunday

Good - It's Friiiiiiiiiiiiiiday! ?

Bad - I'm planning to do run 3 of week 2 of c25k, followed by my usual budy pump and spin classes - I may die!

Good - Off out for tapas and sangria with friends tonight

Good - A huge jam packed weding day tomorrow - squeeeeeee!

Good - Wine, nibbles, and chat with a friend tomorrow night

Bad - I need to tidy the house on Sunday...and study for Thursday's exam ☹️

Good/Bad/Just plain terrifying - I get married in 106 days! ?

Good: showed our mums the venue and they really liked it. Good: had a really productive meeting with the venue Good: booked a dj Bad: he was at our flat for 3 hours! Bad: have to study both days this weekend Super good: only 1 week til moh's wedding!!! (also means I only have to do 1.5 days at work!)

Good - I have a baby due this week - yippeee!

Bad - Baby is already 2 days late and I feel HUGE!!!

Good : I have bought my wedding ring!!

Bad : I cant wear it for another 7 months.

Good: Going to my Best friends tommorrow night for chinese and wedding planning

Bad: My kids have been really testing this week!!

Good: OH has appointment next week to try suits

Had a pretty bad one!

Bad - managed to totally offend our reverand, now have to find someone else!

Bad - ordered wedding shoes, too big, have to return via a courier, which I cant schedule as they were bought on my fiances card and hes at the gym till late every night after work

Bad - ordered BMs dresses, my sister doesn't like them, wont try the bigger size, have to return via courier but ... see above!

Bad - my mum thinks we should cancel and has got me thinking. I'm taking a month out to decide whether to just go ahead with the xmas eve wedding we also have booked and cancel the big show.

Bad - family invite politics are getting my really down!

Good - got my cake order in

Good - tried on my dress with accessories so now have that sorted

Good - myself and oh have weekend off together.

Good - picked and paid for all wedding favours.

Good - most of our day guests booked into suitable accommodation.

Bad - mil been contacting me about every little thing I don't need to know and causing me stress!

Bad - all oh's family keep contacting me to book rooms.

Good - finished nightshift

Good - lost another 2 pounds this week.

Wanted to have a productive week get my invites finished off BUT...my little boy developed croup so a few days in hospital, came home to my old man catching the flu (you can imagine the moaning!) To today waking up and having it myself. Bad week!! Glad to see some of you ladies are on the ball.

Good - I have booked an appt to try some dresses on, sottero & Midgeley Katelynn and jesslyn. Ronald Joyce-Daphne plus others!

Good - Won 25 wedding invitations, they are being processed!

Bad - the wording is from me and OH, just casual and friendly. My mum snapped oh good, i cant be blamed for when people moan at me when they re not invited. BIG BREATHE IN AND HOLD!

Good - was told i looked like i lost weight

Good - I had lost weight

Bad - havent been much to the gym in 10 days and eating too much, so some has gone back on!

Good - Managed to order 20 FREE! save the date cards!

Bad - I too have to revise for exam on wednesdays and 3 assignments im working through, so shouldnt be on here so much!

Good - Have been looking at BMs colours, bouquet styles and hair styles I like.

Good - My young BM has also been looking at dresses and styles for me due to excitement! (only 11!)

Good: got paid 2 days early due to a HR muck up. My custom veil has been dispatched!

Bad: Rubbish day at work, worried my veil wont look right..

Good. I finished work on time for the first time this week!

Bad. Our weekly weigh in suggests I keep gaining weight not losing it (I am off to eat Tapas in self pity)

Good. OH is not at the football this week so get some time together finally

Bad. Best man has seriously offended all the stag party and frankly I would do a better job

Good - got another appt to go dress shopping tommorow

Bad - worried I will never find the 'one'

Bad - my boy has started playing up when I drop him at nursery

Good - its the weekend!

Good - hoping to get to another wedding fayre on Sunday

Very Very BAD: My OH works for th Royal Fleet Auxilliary (Merchant Navy), and flew out to the middle east yesterday for 4 months (due back 12 days before the big day!!) so very lonely adjusting to living myself again.

GOOD: My BM's mum making invites and is doing an amazing job.

BAD: Got paid on wednesday and totally skint already (although I did manage to bag a tiara from ebay for 6.99)

GOOD: My friends water broke about an hour ago so waiting for a new arrival.

BAD: Things a bit awkward with in laws as they had said they were going to pay for flowers but now say weve ordered too many so their not.

Thats terrible! how can they go back on their word?! why dont they say well we were giving you this much and give that to you? not go back on their word!

My thoughts exactly. I initially said we would split it with them, they werent happy that my bouquet was £80, then told me my bm's shouldnt be having bouquets i would be able to get them a handbag to hold for a fiver from internet and other bits and pieces. Just being really awkward about it all and as it stands at the moment they are giving sod all. Not that we were expecting contributions from people but when they told us that we budgeted our money on other things most of which has been spent!

Ah, thats a shame. im sorry to hear that. they may come round. My in laws havent asked if we need any help with it at all. I dont mind in a way, my mum is enough to deal with! but it would be nice to be asked. They might be waiting for us to say something. I think they are just chilled about everything really! I dont expect any help with money as they cant afford it, more just help with ideas or such things.

My OHS mum didnt offer to pay anything despite me cryin to her about how stressed and broke we were then hey presto 9 months later hands us £1000 in cash! amazing but doesnt it just make you laugh that she couldnt have told us that when we were stressing out 9 months ago lol! families ey! lol

Good: I have had a great week at work.

Good: We have decided on centre pieces..... Finally

Good: After changing my mind 6 times during the course of the day I have decided to go to Manchester to do a spot of Wedding Planning.

Good: I think, after 8 shops ad 35 dresses tried on, I have whittled it down to 3 dresses to choose from

Bad: I have to choose from 3 dresses, why is this so HARD!!!!!

Bad(ish): I have to travel all the way to Manchester, planning from a distance is a bit fiddlier than I thought.

Bad: We only have 2 days to decide on a DJ we haven't met yet..Eeeek

Thats more goods than bad.

I may need everyones opinions on the dresses soon!

Good - It's friday and the OH is off this weekend.

Good - Booked an appointment with the venue to sort a few things out

Good - Got a wedding fayre this tomorrow and ones on the 19th which is at my venue

Bad - can't find ribbon in local shops to start making my invites

Bad - Little BM dress does not fit - too big and discountiued Dress - one more little BM to try is that doesn't fit back to buying 3 new ones!

Good - It's the weekend

Good - only 2 more invites to make

Good - Made favour cards and photo frame inserts

Bad - kids have argued since we got home

Bad - only 2 days til the weekend is over

Bad - I'm fed up with my gluten free diet

Good: Caterer and photographer booked.

Bad: Still don't know what numbers I can actually have at venue!!!

Good: Still losing weight....slowly but it's coming off.

Bad bad very bad: lost dissertation on laptop.

I have a new bad. Got home from a lovely evening with friends (good) to discover OH is stuck in Merseyside thanks to the delight that is the M62 so I am all alone till tomorrow lunch ☹️

Good: I'm trying my dress on with accessories today!!

Good: have arranged to see a couple of florists next week..

Good: cake course is going ok (still not sure if I can make my own cake though)

Bad: bit worried about dress needing taking in and loosing detail still..

Neutral: maybe got a walking-home dress... it's pretty and understated but still a bit bridal... a little part of me wonders if I should wear this all day :/
