Its Friiiiday!!!! Its the weekly Good/Bad Thread!!

Good - i finished at lunch time today

Good - autoglass repaired my car windscreen

Bad - Roofers just been round to look at roof. Its not looking good and is going to cost pennies to initially repair. The long term outlook is DEF not good.

Good - It's frinday and only 2 and a half hours to go at work

Good - OH is out tonight with his BM so i'm round my sisters having a girly night!

Good - Finally going to start printing some of the bits for the invites tomorrow.

Bad - Still at work, and quite a few people have gone home and the boss is doing my head in.

Bad - OH is working all day Sunday!!

Good: going out for a meal tomorrow as is OH's brother's b'day

Good: OH isnt on call this week (but is next week, booo!)

Good: have arranged my photo shoot

Bad: Oh was supposed to be off today, then it turned into a half day, and now looks like a full day as he's not home yet!

Here's mine.....

Bad- OH is working late tonight

Bad- not sure when I'm going to find time to get nails sorted out

Good- Having dinner at parents tomorrow and as its a saturday Dad will be cooking (he is an amazing cook)

Good- On Sunday we are picking up vases for our centre pieces (from another hitcher no less)

Good- The snow is finally disappearing meaning I might be able to get places without killing myself

Quiet one for me but I am not complaining!

Good: Get my fixed laptop back tonight after 2 weeks

Bad: Costing me £120

Good: My veil arrived and I am collecting it tomorrow

Good: Having a 'year to go (ish)' wedding meeting with my MOH tomorrow night (and a few glasses of wine!)

Bad: MIL continuing to be the biggest bain of my life and I am not sure how long I can continue to be polite..

Bad: OH is having to work a full day and has only just got chance to ring me to day boooo!!!

Good: he finishes at 4is so uts not too bad and i told him to bring me some chocolate for making me wait lol

GOOD - OH birthday today (Last one as my fiance!!)

GOOD - going out for a lovely meal

GOOD - going shopping tomorrow - still got xmas vouchers to spend

GOOD - Sunday having a weddingy organising day

BAD - It will be Monday before we know it...!

Not actually got much planned this w-end, which is GOOD but it is the calm before the storm cos as from next w-end we are busy every w-end until April.

So GOOD cos having a nice quiet one.

GOOD: first week back at work was really good

GOOD: had quite good week on diet

GOOD: can have some wine tonight, gooody!

Bad: have a slight headache, so might not want the wine

GOOD: meeting with chair cover/centrepiece people tomorrow.

GOOD: wedding fair sunday

Bad: OH still hasn't left work yet (he should have finished at 1730) so won't be home now until at least 1930

Good: I made curry for dinner - yum!

Good: Nice chilled out night tonight

Good: Looking after my friends baby tomorrow morning, then going to try on wedding suits

Good: Chilled out Sunday and then over to my mum's for dinner to celebrate my sister's and niece's birthdays which were this week

Will be all good here once OH calls to say he's on his way home!

BAD We've been told we have to move out as our landlords want to move back in. This leaves us having to move 4/5 weeks before the wedding.

BAD This will cost us quite a bit in letting agent fees, van hire etc

BAD This also leaves the status of our church wedding somewhat dubious as all the legalities and banns rely on residency

BAD H2B was in a car crash this week. Looney was ovetaking on a blind corner and H2B had to crash to avoid. Looney drove off, leaving us with the full insurance excess to pay. ***.

BAD The car is totally crumpled

BAD H2B was supposed to finish at 5pm tonight but took on a locum shift till 9pm. I miss him a lot.

GOOD Locum shift is paying a lot because they're inundated with patients, and lord knows we need the money after the unexpected moving and car crash fees!

GOOD Not much else

Bad - Stressful week at workm still short staffed, workload increased and Boss avoiding me as he knows I want to ask for a payrise

Bad - 30 on Sunday

Good - Off on Monday YAY!!!

Is he ok fancyfree????

Bad - I'm signed off work again

Bad - Weighed myself and I have put 1/2 stone on since choosing my dress

Bad - OH still at work and should have been home already and I cancelled seeing my mum tonight because he should have been home tonight

Good - Had time to do some wedding planning whilst off work

Good - Going to get OH fitted for his suit tomorrow

Good - my best mate is coming round for dinner tomorrow night (will try again to ply her with alcohol to see if she will slip up and tell me what we are doing for my hen wkend!)

Good - booked my dress fitting (1st March woohooo)

Good - I have actually done some exercise today so hopefully will lose the 1/2 stone plus extra by the dress fitting

Raef, he is thanks for your concern. We’ve had so much bad news since 1 Jan that the night before we just hugged each other and said thank God we’ve got one another or we’d never cope. Then BAM, someone tries to kill him!

H2B works away and so was commuting back after a rare weekend at home – all on country back roads. had a call at 6:15am to say he had been in a car accident. Two frantic hours later, he called to say he was OK but very shaken up and very angry. That afternoon though he had to be back in work. He came out at about 9pm, went to his little room (he has to rent a room there as it’s too far and too dangerous –HA- to drive back most of the time) and collapsed in exhaustion. Adrenaline runs out!

This other person was overtaking two cars, in the pitch black, on a hill and on a blind bend. H2B crash the car into the hedge (and a hidden bollard, of course) to avoid a head-on. The idiot carried on driving, leaving H2B’s car wrapped round the bollard.

What surprises me most is that the two people the idiot was overtaking also failed to stop. How could they in good conscience not stop to even see if he was alive? Let alone stay to be witnesses.

As it stands, then, we’re liable for the lot. Including the rebuilding of the bollard (to add insult to injury!)

Add that on top of the eviction and I’m really ****ing stressed right now.

Heavens above FF. Our local paper always writes a story about stuff like that and asks for the witnesses to come over. I'm glad hes alright! Id say fk off about the bollard though. If the council cant cut back the hedgegrows to show its there, ot the local farmer or whoever, then sod replacing it. If its not seen, why bother?? tell them to stick it!

Good - it's the weekend after a long week at work

Bad - I've had horrendous teeth problems and on tablets so can't have the usual bottle of wine tonight

Good - passed my final assignment on my studies

Bad - Got my mock exam and final exam to do now!!

Good - one week left to final visit to venue, book it and confirm our wedding date as set in stone!!

Bad - a whole week to go til I can visit the venue, book it and confirm our wedding date as set in stone!!!!!

And yes, teehee I totally agree with you. That and the amount of frikkin tax we pay, eh?! There was a CCTV camera at a Shell garage, but the police shrugged and said H2B could 'go and watch the footage if he wanted'. He has, but no luck. Unfortunately it was so dark and he as too busy trying to not get killed. H2B is going to put some signs up (because they police wouldn't do that either). Seriously, what do we pay for?!?!

Bad - I ate 8 fondant fancies today

Good- Im going to have a swing around the pole and dance it off (well some of it anyway!)

Good - I booked my dress fittings/alterations today - not till June but still exciting!!

Bad - I still can't afford to go to the gym so my wedding dress is prob still tight! And............

Bad - I had pizza for tea tonight!

Good - We are babysitting my CBM's 2 yr old at ours overnight tomorrow

Bad - My house is going to be turned into Babies/Toys R us!

An extra Good - I just donated thro paypal to Oxfam, for Haiti. Paid a tenner which will buy a hygiene kit for one family. Doesnt sound like much but.......

I read today that the Queen even donated to the fund.......
