Hi Milly Molly...We're getting married next week, woo hooo!

Very real indeed, it feels strange but exciting doesn't it? I'm doing okay but not as prepared as I thought I'd be at this stage, though not in panic mode either! Thought I'd be more toned, tanned and cellulite free but what can you do....

Need to pull a final list together as things keep popping into my head while I'm (trying) to work so I can feel more in control!

How about you? Have you got much more to do? ?

I'm getting married next week too!!!! can't quite believe it. I'm definitely feeling more nervous than excited at the moment. I am going to write a final to do list aswell although I don't think there is all that much to do, mainly taking everything to the venue and not forgetting anything.

    xx

Hurray!! How excited must you be!

I've actually planned this wedding in about 4 months too after bringing it forward from December and I've found it pretty easy to sort if I'm honest. Still got to sort my hair out (NIGHTMARE) and have to finalise suppliers and buy shoes and trousers for pageboy and FG. And confetti. And tell everyone we've changed our menu. And finish table plan and place cards. And lose a few more pounds. Aaaarrrrgggh! Milly you've set me off now witht his thread ?

Yes I've had three hair trials (yes, three) and they have all been a disaster. I wanted my hair up but have come to the conclusion that it won't happen so I'm going for hair down and birdcage veil with hair comb (I think, I may change my mind on this though ?

Nope because I'm too embarrassed (my make up trial pics are), they were truly horrible! I would post them but only to give people a laugh ☹️

Ah they cant be that bad? Ive had two trials from the same lady and Im still wobbling. The first time I had a traditional hair up with small veil attached at the bun, with basic looking makeup - but it didnt look like me and it looked too 'typical' IYKWIM?

The second one was hair down to the side with diamante hair brooch with much smokier eyes etc. was much more pleased!

Now im thinking do I want the veil or the hair brooch?

I need to have a serious word with myself!!!! ?

I'd say the second one. I don't think your dress needs a veil - it's detailed enough to make a statement by itself. I love smoky eyes too. I'll bury the hair trial pics in here:

Even though you can't see my face you can tell I'm not happy ?

    You've got lovely coloured hair!

I know what you mean, the style doesnt look that secure. I wouldnt be happy either, doesnt look weddingy, this is the kind of 'do' I throw up every day to take the kids to school! The hair brooch isnt in the right place either?

How long is your hair? Post a 'hair down' pic?

I know, I'm definitely abandoning the hair up thing, my hair is just too fine. My hair is long, I'd say a good 2 inches below my shoulder so think I'm going to opt for one of these as I'm having a vintage theme:

Ideal I like both. The first one you can incorporate your hair brooch into at the back.

    Yup, sorry Milly!
