Its my Hen do tomorrow!

(Claire), 16 June, 2011 at 14:21 Posted on Planning 0 18

Just wanted to share with you all that I actually have butterflies is this normal! What something if anything were you made to do on your hen that you hated doing or you refused to do point blank? Or you were just quite embarassed about but embraced it anyway, Im quite a shy reserved person and I hate the thought of having to approach a bloke and ask him for his pants!!!

I was pretty apprehensive about mine as I had absolutely no idea what was happening (where, who, what etc). I made t clear to my sister that I didn't want to do anything that I felt would embarrass me and she did me proud.

Assuming your chief organiser knows your boundaries, don't worry, they'll see you right!

    Enjoy it!

Do you know where you're going and what you're doing?

I organised mine but I still had goosebumps. On the second night, my friend paid some bloke with a pint to do me a lapdance! It was mortifying/hilarious and there are some great pictures, so I guess I kind of hated/loved that part. I didn't do any dares though, so no asking for pants necessary, thankfully.

Thanks CB, I did give them a list of donts just because I know myself and would hate to feel uncomfortable but at the same time wouldnt want to feel like a prude but I do trust them so hopefully everything will be fine. Still got these butterflies though!

You'll have a great time - don't forget you can always say no if it's outside of your comfort zone but I'm sure they'll pitch it just right.

Have a fab time. I'm sure the dares will be tame, if you have any.

Mine was all a surprise too. The most embarrassing thing I had to do was to answer some really embarrassing questions in front of everyone but even then I wasn't mortified really, it was such a good day.

I had to ask but they all declined much to my delight! It was a dare card game and was all taken light heartedly and just got laughed at, just say if you REALLY dont want to do something, you should feel excited but I did get butterflies the day before, mainly due to leaving my little boy for a couple of nights!

    God luck and have fun!

I managed this with surprising ease...! ? They were rank ?

I'm sure you're only going with good friends and family, none of whom will want to spoil your hen do by making you do something you don't want to do.

    Enjoy and have fun!

It'll be fab! We had a great time in Edinburgh on mine a couple of wks ago!

We went to Revolution for dinner & cocktails then Espionage for dancing - it was great crack, They have these fella's in bikes with carts on them to transport you around the cobbled streets!

We went to the chocolate lounge in Harvey Nic's & had pink champagne & cupcakes - highly recommend!

We also ate in an Italian rest on Hannover Street, Bella Italia - it really was the nicest Italian meal Ive ever had, if you like Italian & get the time definately go!

    Enjoy yourself! x

We are going to Bella Italia on the Friday night SaSa and I will look forward to it even more after your recommendation.

We have been told to go to a club called Le Monde, on George Street do you know it? Where did you go in the evening? x

You will love it! I got a mushroom lasagne, another girl got a pasta dish with duck & it was divine.

In evening we went to espionage bar & niteclub but its in a different area to georges street, you are more central whereas we went out closer to the Castle if that makes sense!
