This is me today....... ?

I'm so excited. We have finally booked our venue, waaaaahhhoooooooo. It's the first place we looked at and the only place we really wanted - with the exception of one venue from a large chain of hotels that will remain nameless but they couldn't be bothered to return my calls so they ended up on the scrap heap!

We had our final appointment there today and the lady who owns it couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Grand tour of the building and a really nice sit down for a chat about the finer details after that and I couldn't be happier with our choice. This also means that our date is set. We did say 1st Oct 2011 but didn't know if it was free but yes it was. Sooooooo happy! ?

Oh just through talking to her today it's very obvious that there's so much to do that I hadn't even considered. Bring on the lists, lol. I'm not going to go dress shopping yet. I've got a lot of weight to lose (which I hope to do this year) so come October this year I'll start shopping. No harm in window shopping for a while though eh? ?

Oh if I must........ It's The Priory Hotel, Herefordshire. Gorgeous little country hotel. Nice and intimate. (and no, that doesn't mean cramped, lol)

The front looks a little different now, the driveway is all gravel for example. I think these must be older photos. The inside is gorgeous though. The dining areas are really well lit and very spacious while the sitting rooms and bedrooms are very plush, newly decorated and have a warm feel about them (not to mention the required 4 poster bed!!)
