It's quiet here today. List...

We're hoping to try and finish putting together our 'order of the day' and finish the paperwork to send off to the registars, having agreed readings and music, and who's going to be doing the readings. It's been "in progress" for some time now but it's one of the last big things we need to do well in advance so it'll feel good to get it out of the way.

Getting my hair trial today after work and then my second make up lesson tomorrow, wo i can learn how to make myself bootiful, and i love a bit of pampering. Also finalising the details of our ceremony which i am v excited about!

My daughter and I are getting our first hair trial done tomorrow, plus writing out all the invitations. x

Going to our jewellers to try on some rings, finalise our choice, and pay our deposit!

Also, they do handmade tiaras so may well pick one of them up too if I see one that takes my fancy!

Also going through the vows the planners have sent through to us and deciding which bits of which samples we want to keep to make into our own service.......very exciting! I've read through them all a couple of times and cry like a child each time......GOK what I'll actually be like on the day!?

Due to my crazy shift patterns and OH trying to get his business organised before we go away, this will be the only time we have off together before we go, so we need to be super-oganised and get as much done as poss.........looks like we'll have to take it easy on our (very rare) Saturday night out with friends so we don't need to spend Sunday sleeping off our hangovers!!?

We are meeting our Vicar properly for the first time to start organising orde rof service, what we need to do, practice, hymns, readings and banns!

This will make me realise we are actually getting married!!

I'm meeting up with several other ladies from another forum (oops!) for an "unofficial hen party" in Covent Garden. Very excited!

The only weddingy thing I have planned this weekend is my boudior shoot for H2B's pressie, which I've just come back from (Friday counts as the weekend right?! I don't work Fridays!). TBH I was probably more nervous than excited about it to begin with - which wasn't helped due to being 1hr 15 min late due to an accident on the M60 - but it was great fun once I'd had my makeover done and relaxed a little. Looking forward to seeing the results now!

Busy with BM stuff for another wedding, BUT on Sunday me and h2b will be booking our hotel at Vegas, flight from Vegas to Grand Canyon, lodge at Grand Canyon, sleeper train to beach town near San Diego and our room for 6 days at said beach town (has a balcony overlooking ocean and a hot tub on the balcony!). Won't flash again as that's just bragging- is flashed towards the end of the honeymoon thread ?.

We have already booked our flights to US and as you can see have planned our itinerary (easier said than done, esp as we don't drive and will be using public transport) but we just have to book rooms and internal transfers etc.

Well the one big wedding thing that is happening this weekend is my BMs are going to go get their dresses sorted and I am so fed up with it all I am NOT going and told CBM she is in charge!

Hopefully we will buy the rings this weekend but that has been on the to do for a month and still not happened!

Does going on a 30 mile cycle ride count as trying to slim for the wedding?

I am spending Mothers day wedding shoe shopping with my Mum, my shoes, her shoes, 4 bridesmaids and 2 flowergirls shoes!! I actually already have a pair of shoes, they are Dune ones with a jewelly ting on the toe I got them in the sale, somebody on here has them as their Avatar but I've gone off them as they are a bit toey, too much toe on display. So much shoe shopping then a nice lunch for us. Yay!

We're going BM dressing shopping (1st time) tomorrow then having a big meal for parents, siblings and best friends (CBM + Best Man plus OHs) so they can all meet (parents and siblings have met but not met our friends)... I'm both excited and nervous! And don't know what to wear!

Still wedding related and most excited about I have a Hen's lunch meeting tomorrow to give out goodie bags for our weekend to Majorca in TWO WEEKS!! Yahooo!!

And I have to do all the online check in's on Sunday! Bit of a task for 12 girlies but well worth it!

Also need to start my table plan and finish the making extra name cards.

Also ot wedding related but just as important making a mothers day sunday lunch for mum and dad (obviously) but also for my sister, BIL and the 3 kids!

Cant believe how fast the last 6 months has gone!!

I'm getting some ideas together for a mood board for my photographer and having my hair trial (even though I wont be getting hitched for another 2 years lol).?

Well tonight is one year since my OH proposed so he's currently cooking me a three-course meal as I sit here Hitching whilst sipping Champagne! Its our first ever anniversary as we didnt have an official date of getting together (it just sort of happened). So I'm very excited for tonight!!!!

This weekend we plan to get some booze for the wedding as Tesco have the 3 for £20 on beer at the moment, then get some pots for my bay trees, get our rings engraved, look for plates/serviettes/platters for our evening buffet...think thats about it! As we are getting closer the more things I can tick off the list the better! Less stress for me!

Filling out my beautiful groom's journal.

This weekend i am finding bits and bobs for my bridesmaids hair. I have ordered an Aster comb from Lisa and loads of clips and pins and a double sparkly hair band from 3D.

I am impatiently waiting for my invites to arrive so if they come i will be writing and posting them.

Hurrrmm.. shopping for my underwear... because it wont be long before I have my dress fitting and I need some real boobie-boosting power to compliment the sweetheart neckline.

My H2B and his BM are going to have their suits fitted today and tomorrow, we are off to church to hear our banns being read.

I am doing NOTHING wedding related (except have a quick glance at this forum!)... We are celebrating our 3 yr anniversary so off to a hotel for the night... after measuring up sofas for the house we're buying. Hurrah! (More excited about the sofas tbh)

I'm going to have a practice run at making the name place cards and heading out to try on some wedding shoes that I've seen before ordering them ?

• Order guest book, candles, Table number holders
• Decide on flowers (2nd AHHHH)
• Open a bottle of wine
• Drink said bottle of wine
• Probably not get the above done

I bought my wedding dress yesterday! So im really pleased and im now about to take my mum to our venue to have a look before i take her back to the train station and pack her off back to scotland.

Dress Shopping today - man i need to lose a bit of weight!
