Its quiet here today! whats everyone doing?

I've been putting something off for a couple of days so I've made a deal with myself that if I get it done today I can WFH on Friday - it's a win win!

I'm doing nothing. It's my last day at work, I have nothing to do and I'm bored bored bored. The post man also seems to have gone AWOL with the dirty cakes I ordered as well which is rather annoying.

May be a silly question but what does WFH mean?

My office is rly busy today so its hard sneaking on here with no one seeing lol

I think it has been quiet recently all together.

I am working working working, organising parents and then tonight going to the gym if it wasn't for organsing my day would be less than boaring.

shoegal retail therapy sounds fab.

I'm in work, but have got a quiet-ish day, so gonna get what I need to get done this morn and have a wander at lunch and then hopefully sunbathe this aft.

Just rec'd a massive box of choc fudge and a thank you card from a company I have helped out a lot recently with work, so has put a massive smile on my face and going to make a start on munching my way thru those (balls to the healthy eating for a day).

It is really quiet here! We need some interesting threads.

I'm just at work today as per usual and can't get any motivation to do anything! Want to be out in the sunshine.

Am soooo skint as well until I get paid next Fri so it's not as if I have an action packed weekend to look forward to either ☹️

Something I do as often as I can get away with cos it's so much nicer than being in the office!

I'm at work too but off to have my nails done at lunch! I hate being stuck in the office when it's so nice outside. This evening me and OH need to tidy the spare room for guests at the weekend.

I think there are a lot of weddings this week which probably means all the Brides will be last minute double checking everything! Plus Hitched has been painfully slow at loading this week and a lot of people are just not bothering coming on because it has been taking too long to load. Having said that, it seems much better today! I'm in the middle of a chocolate brown, ivory and gold shower bouquet - roses, freesia and hypericum berries with brown foliage but my tummy's rumbling so I'm off for a cuppa!

however i am looking forwards to carnival tonight and we are having loads of people over for a bbq and drink and to watch carnival from our house yay !

Well, I've found it difficult to get online this morning, so I couldn't do any research for Uni, so instead I've been gardening....which is lovely in this sunshine and breeze.

Why have you all got sunshine and im working from home with cloud and grey skys....??

I totally agree with ya'll- hitched is really slow recently. There doesn't seem to be many people around but hopefully things will pick up soon.

Well today I am still on school holidays and will be for the next 2 weeks...hooray...! So, I have to sit on the sofa all day becuase I busted my knee ligament day before yesterday. Had been for cocktails and dinner with best mate coz she is moving to Abu Dhabi to teach so had had a few and was waiting for my bus when a little old lady came and sat beside me at the bus top......and proceeded to tell me she had just been diagnosed with shingles at the hospital and she didn't feel well....and passed out on me. Just fell on me! So as I was lowering her into recovery position on the floor I twisted my knee! Jeez, I had to cradle her head and she kept losing consciousness so I kept telling passers by to call an ambulance...guess what...they bloody ignored me! Had to shout at a girl passing by to call an ambulance, and then get her coat to keep lady warm....girl asked what else she should do so I said to just keep an eye out for ambulance....turns out she's a trainee nurse! God, would not want her in an emergency!

Sorry for going on....just thought I would share! So I am not going to do anything today....ooh I have sky+ Pretty woman so will watch that I think!

Wow How well did you do in that situation!!! Well done I probably would have done everything wrong or froze! I can't believe people just watched what was happening and didn't help! shows what a sad world were coming to! I hope she was ok! hope you knee gets better soon. Enjoy the sitting down for a little while... before the back to school chaos!

I have the cake now. It was our postroom that were being rubbish rather than Royal Mail. The bakers delivered them before 9am but they never turned up on my desk til 12pm.
