It's snowing..

Is that unusual?

It's 61 F here in NYC. Thec wather has been crazy this week, it was 21 F ( minus 7 C) on monday.

Snow in Houston? Yes, its very unusual..this is the first time Mil has seen it and she has been here 10 years..

Well enjoy your snow, we very rarely get any snow here (life on an island i guess!) so when it does snow it causes complete havoc but is very very special.

We don't have snow. Just got home from the Galleria, and there is none there either.

Although I've just looked outside properly and there is a tiny amount in the creases of roofs. Will have to take a picture to prove that there were at least a few snowflakes in Katy! ?

We have snow. in Switzerland. Slightly more normal here ?

I'm PMSL at the weather channel reporting on the snow. Hilarious! A light dusting and they're all agog!

"It's accumulating [English term for settling I'd imagine lol] and it's so cold [just hit freezing]. We're a bit concerned about the road conditions" [no snow settling on the roads at all].

I just got chatting to a Texan who is all dazed..he hasnt seen snow before..bless him..Im cold but thats because I dont have a decent coat anymore..not looking forward to the 40 mile drive home later though..

Sulk. I want snow in Oregon pleeeeease. We are all chomping at the bit to hit the slopes here. It has been unseasonably mild, we only just had the first frost of the season last week. Temps are supposed to be 'plummeting' this weekend but I'm heading back to Blighty on Saturday
