It's stopped :(

Kentish Gal, 14 June, 2013 at 09:19 Posted on Beauty & Wellbeing 0 3

I needed to lose 28lbs (or more) in 11 weeks. I actually wasn't very good for the first 3 weeks (I know, fool!), but at least I made inroads.

I have been very good now for almost 5 weeks but the loss has slowed/stopped. I have 3 weeks to go and although I feel much fitter than I have ever (so that's great!) my dress doesn't fit properly yet and I feel fat!

My personal style is focusing on the food and fasting totally 2 days a week, but due to working out a lot more I am trying to eat regularly and healthily. I am keeping my calories low and being careful but I seem stuck.

Tempted to go out and have a big old eat-up this weekend to see if it triggers my metabolism!!!

In all seriousness, I was in tears after fat club last night. I need more to shift before July 6th and the more I worry and the busier I am and the less I sleep the more the weight loss is unlikely to happen. I can never lose weight if I'm experiencing a lot of sleep loss.

Any tips? Or a stern talking-to?

Are you doing the 2 day fasting thing? If so your body has properly gone into emergency fat storing mode. so when ever your ARE eating, its storing and not burning it because it knows they'll be a mini famine later.

When I stopped fasting the weight loss almost halted. Feast/famine seems to work for me personally. I keep going full circle and ending up at the same conclusion. Not sure why I don't just stick with it.

Have 6 days left and have just finished an eat-a-thon, so doing the military diet Mon-Thurs and then that's that!

I have almost the exact same problem. I lost weight and inches, but my dress had to be let out, I was gutted, but then I thought f that means I look amazing in the day who cares, no one knows how much you weigh by looking at you and your the bride everyone will think your beautiful.

My advice would be to go full on with the exercise now, My personal trainer said to me to loose 3 pounds a week you need to be doing about 4 hours exercise a week, at least, so that's what I am doing now, everyday I do my 20 minute dvd, then try and swim at least once a week, also classes are great, everyone encourages you and its a great way to loose weight and have fun.

Also with the sleep try not to eat carbs in the evening, have them for lunch and for dinner hald your plate should be green veg and the other half can be chicken or fish. Its amazing how much that fills you up, also don't eat after 8pm. that will keep you up.

Hope its all kicks starts again.

    YOU CAN DO IT.
