it's the weekly weekend good/bad thread! cowabunga!

Morning all!

Lots of weddings this weekend so all the best to those girlies!

THE BEST EVER - I finally have a day off on Sunday!! Cant remember the last time I had a day off....Have been working 7 day weeks for what seems like forever to pay for the wedding!!

GOOD - OH is buying us a curry tonight!

GOOD - Going to some friends for dinner sat night and we havent seen them in ages

BAD - Working tomorrow AM

GOOD - Meeting a florist tomorrow afternoon - very excited about that!

So, over all a good weekend! Yay! Hope everyone else has a good one!

Hey ladies thank crunchie it's friday is all I can say!

GOOD: going to Thee Wedding Show at Murrayfiled in Edinburgh, my first one so not sure what to expect!

GOOD: my chief bridesmaid and best friend in the whole world is coming too!!!

GOOD: we're going for something to eat at Zizzi's afterwards, yummy!

BAD: can't have a drink as am on antibiotics

BAD: OH is using car so will have to use dreaded public transport, trains and buses oh no!

Hope you all have a nice weekend!

GOOD: Get to catch up with all our family tomorrow as we are doing the rounds of the IL's during the day then have a big 'farewell' meal with my family for my little bro in the evening.

BAD: The 'farewell' part of the above. He's off to Afghan for 6 months.

GOOD: Get to see the unofficial version of our wedding video tomorrow.

GOOD: Nothing planned for Sunday apart from....

BAD: Starting to 'unweddingfy' the house.

BAD: Ooooooh it hurts being back at work...and on a friday of all days

GOOD: Had a brillio mini-moon in Brugge, but feel shattered from such a busy fortnight!

BAD: That's it nothing more to plan for...ho hum, over to OT I go!

GOOD: Slowly getting to catch up on piccies from our day...and what a day it was

GOOD: Off to Brindisa near London Bridge for tapas tomorrow (supposed to be awesome)

GOOD: Then off to the Globe to watch Loves Labour Lost (hope we like it!)

GOOD: Off to flower wholesale place on Sunday to get an idea of what is in season now because ....

GOOD: A YEAR TODAY WE WILL BE GETTING HITCHED!

BAD: It's still a year away until we get hitched...

Good: It's my birthday monday!!

Good: Going out with the girls tomorrow night

Good: OH is making my dinner monday!

Good: It's friday!!

Bad: In work till 5.30pm!!

Good: Its the weekend!

Good: Sleep in tomorrow

Bad: Have totally run out of wedding related things to do.

Good: Am excited as have just ordered Delia's Happy Christmas from Amazon - yay Christmas!

GOOD; got a fab and busy w-end coming up.

BAD; my dryer broke this morn and now looks like my keyboard is broke.

(ps: Amended cos laptop broke at home so don't have a usable keyboard)

GOOD: It's the weekend

BAD: Have to revise for exams

BAD: Also have to clean the house

BAD: No weddingy stuff planned until next week

BAD: We have a student coming to stay for two whole weeks

GOOD: The money we get from that will cover the second deposit for our HM...

Bad: Im in work till 4.30pm

Good: That means in less than 2 hours I will be home with my boys!!!

Bad: Tomorrows overtime has been cancelled - my purse is in mourning

Good: Tomorrows overtime has been cancelled - rejoice! a free saturday to do as i please!!

Bad: No big friday night plans as thought i was working saturday

Good: Can watch the repeats of last weekends XF!!

Well the weather is miserable in Glasgow and its only to get worse as the weekend progresses so looks like a weekend for staying in jammies, reality tv, takeaways (healthy chow mein - must keep an eye on the points), and vino for me!!!! ⛈

Good: My nan has been discharged from hospital today

Bad: She's expecting me to visit but I can't as I have been called in to work at my second job from 7-10 :-(

Good: OH has no overtime this week so will actually spend some time with his over the weekend!

Bad: I have work tomorrow night

Good: I'm going to meet some florists tomorrow.... exciting!!

Bad: I NEEEEED a car!!!

BAD: this week has been pretty awful, my nan had an emergency major op on Saturday and has been in intensive care all week...saw her last night and it was a pretty big shock. Was going to post on Hitched for vibes but have been too upset so haven't mentioned anything, didn't feel I could type out a whole new thread about it...but she is doing better today and may be moved out of the ICU to a high dependency ward (so any vibes much appreciated!)

GOOD: as above, looks like nan is getting better slowly

GOOD: it's Friday thank god

BAD: diet's gone to pot this week - am definitely a comfort eater

BAD: have been all over the place at work

GOOD: OH and work lot have been very supportive

Sorry if I've brought the thread down a bit with that! Wasn't my intention. Been a bit mad this week as you can probably tell...am very close to my nan.

BAD: Been off all week with really bad flu!

GOOD: Have had lots of time to do lots of wedding planning stuff, OMG how good is ebay for lots of bargins.

GOOD: If im well enough im going dress shopping with 2 of my bridesmaids tommorrow.

GOOD: Getting really looked after by h2b yay no cooking for me this week

GOOD: Being ill has made me lose a few pounds lol, good kick start to my diet

Stazzle- My nan was admitted to hospital last friday so definitely know what your going thru atm. I too am very close to my nan, and it's heartbreaking to see them unwell.

So definitely sending some huge good vibes for you and your nan ?

? Thank you...hope your nan is recovering well too. You're right it's unbelievably hard, she was pretty much unrecognisable yesterday - usually she's so fit and healthy etc. But she's doing really well today so fingers crossed it will get better from here.

Thats just like my nan, she's usally tap dancing around the kitchen lol was horrible to see her on the weekend as her cancer has caused jaundice so she didnt look well at all. Hopefully she's feeling better now tho.

Good News Cant believe I'm getting married in 7 months ?

Good- i got to get a sneaky peek at some of my wedding pics

Bad- i dont get the rest till next week

Bad- im nightshift all weekend

Good- sat night nightshift = takeaway (its only fair!)

Bad- the weddings over and done with and its back to earth with a bang

Good - when i went shopping during the week i actually got to spend pennies on real proper clothes that you can wear everyday!

Good - going to see my wedding dress tomorrow - havnt been able to actually see it in person yet as its taken me an age to find a bridal shop that actually stocks it!! but VERY VERY excited!!! ? ? ?

Good - as im back in Worcester I'll get to see my nephew hes soooo cute!!

Bad - Ive done a ton of travelling with work this week and then driving home down the M5/M6 YUCK!!!

Good - new company Ive transferred to is brill!! very excited about next week

Bad - OH is working lots more hours as one of the other managers handed in his notice - so not alot of free time together ☹️

Good - At least I'll get the tv controls hee hee

Bad - I have got to get a 6.30am train on Monday morning to go upto Manchester

Very good - thanks to RaeF and KazzaDJ i dont have to worry about getting tickets on the day, you ladies are fab!

Bad - H2B has just emailed me to say he is going for drinks after work which means i dont get to tell him about my day until later ☹️

Bad: its two years today since my lovely uncle passed away ☹️

Bad: my housemate is still being awful to me and even did it today of all days

Good: its my other housemate's 21st birthday on sunday so we're throwing a little surprise party tomorrow night

Good: mr delicious has come to look after me this weekend.
