I've been away - a lot of things have happened good & bad!

Okay,

So I've been sucked into the world of MMO's, made a bunch of friends via teamspeak, most in the north west and my gaming life is in full swing (I'm addicted again!) By the by pretty good! even if I don't see sun and survive on coffee.

Now the nasty bad news. My mum went to hospital 2 weeks ago and had undiagnosed type 2 diabetes and had to have her foot and half her calf removed. Its happened really fast but in hindsight I can see the symptoms now. Its still a lot to process but we're coping. I kia missed you girls and wanted to drop in and show my face

Ah, that's rubbish about your mum. My H2B was just diagnosed with type 2 about two months ago and they are still figuring out his treatments. He has no symptoms at all and is well in himself, but it's still been pretty scary. Hope she's recovering well

Eek how awful, but hopefully now it's diagnosed all the help and support you all need as a family will be around you.

Thanks girls!

Yeah its been a weird few weeks. My mum seems alright in herself. Pretty sure it the 'Moores' way or soldiering on so I'm bracing myself for the shock to set in later. She's got a lot of support from friends and family so far and the hospital has been very good. I think she'll get all the help she'll need. Fingers crossed.
