Wish I had long lashes!...you are a very lucky woman ?

Don't know which mascara is good but at the min I am using Rimmel something or other (great help I am ?), the one with the comb and it seems good enough ?

If you go expensive - DON'T use the YSL one, it's shite! Made my eyelashes clump together, REALLY badly.

The best mascara in the wholest widest worldest and the beauty industry is Dior Show in Blackout - it wins awards every year, it is Marie Claires product of the year again, I love it and cannot live without it.

The clinque waterproof one is really good - doesn't end up under the eye (always happens to me), stays in place until you remove it!

I had to go waterproof, coz I cry at anything and everything!

    Lucky long lashes Smiley smile

I have been semi-blessed. However the mascara staying power is where I am let down so I shall watch this thread with interest to see if anyone mentions industrial strength waterproof mascara!

I hate having long eyelashes so don't ever try to make them stand out but the one mascara I didn't like was the Benefit one. It smudged, clumped and was in general horrible.

Ooh la la it's £11 on ebay from a quick search so might be cheaper elsewhere.

Oops think I searched for the wrong thing! Grr. Anyway Debenhams have it http://beauty.dior.com/diorcom/dior/eshop_uk1/en/base.html#/en/woman/makeup/women-makeup-backstage/woman-makeup-backstage-eyes/diorshow-black-out-spectacular-volume-in-7.html for £19.50 and then have a discount day tomorrow so might get 10% off.

To give my lashes a lift during the day, i use Rimmel "sexy curves", and if i go out on a night, i use L'oreal "telescopic", which i LOVE

I have long lashes, and both these mascaras add a bit more "oomph". My son has also inherited my long lashes, makes all the girls jealous.

This thread obviously had a profound effect on me, as last night I dreamed that I was at Nona's wedding. She looked lovely - obviously although she was getting married in my junior school hall. Which was a bit odd. And she wasn't Scottish! But there you go! Anyway. She was getting married the same day as me. So I went to her wedding first. As she was walking up the aisle, she asked me if I had remembered to get waterproof mascara. I realised that I hadn't, so cut to me running down the highstreet in my wedding dress - in my parents' town trying to buy mascara!

I knew that I only had 20 minutes until the wedding and that I had no makeup on and my hair was just scragged back, but I had to get that mascara!!

Oh and because time was tight, I had to go to Nona's wedding in my wedding dress. I think she was a bit pissed off at that!

(I need to get out more don't I?)

    Oh thats brilliant!!!!!

hahahaha, funny.... you have all mentioned reallllly expensive mascaras. I use rimmel and also have trial No7s kicking about but was considering max factor........ The salon used one which is white at first then black....but my lashes tangle easily and mascara can get lumpy..

I would reccomend max factor's false lash effect mascara, it makes your lashes stand out and isn't clumpy at all! I think it's about £11 ?
