I've stooped to a new low...

I've resorted to eating Cadburys Hot Chocolate powder from the tub with a spoon...why is there never chocolate in the house when you really need it? ?

Eugh, that sounds minging!! Can you not put it into a drink??

You could always mix it with milk and then put it in the freezer - wonder how much like chocolate it would taste?

I feel your pain. I often dip a spoon into the OH's cappuccino sprinkler.

I used to mix drinking powder with sugar and sprinkle it onto bread and butter....

I'm sure it didn't contribute to my weight problem - no siree!

It's actually suprisingly good! Drinking it doesn't give the same fix and I don't drink milk.

MrKT has been informed of the situation and will hopefully be bringing chocolate home...

Ooh I used to do that when I was young and wasn't allowed chocolate very often - i remember trying it with Cocoa powder once as well and getting a very nasty shock ?

Possibly. I do tend to wait until he's dropped the milk frother.

    ? So funny.

I find peanut butter (out of jar with spoon) is an excellent chocolate substitute.

It's the best way to consume it in my opinion - just like peanut butter, always tastes best straight from the jar!

Peanut butter is the food of the Gods! Honestly you've got to try it. It's hideously calorific but it's nuts so they're full of 'good' fat right? That's what I always tell myself when I'm halfway down a jar anyway!

I have to admit to doing this too, also mixing a bit of horlicks powder with milk and having some of that.

Also i love butter cream and so if there's no chocolate or anything sweet to eat in times of emergency i mix some icing sugar and have some butter cream.
