I've waited 5 years to say this...

I joined hitched on 10th August 2003, 2 days after we got engaged, and although we didn't set a date until April last year I regularly hitched to get ideas. When we finally set the date it was 16 months to go and I was on page 16 I think, I then got knocked back a few pages as more brides got added, and now all of a sudden it's page 3 with 2 1/2 weeks to go!

I can't believe on Sunday it'll be 5 years since I found Hitched! What will I do after the wedding planning is over?!

    Those 2 weeks will fly by

    And I am now wondering what to do now the planning is over?

    Tomorrow I will have been engaged 3 years so I know the feeling!

    Did you get engaged on August 8th? If so that's spooky - not only are we getting married on the same day, we got engaged on the same date 2 years apart!

    Have to say I'm looking forward to the planning being over & just being around to help other b2bs! Also CANNOT wait to be able to eat a chocolate bar without worrying about not fitting into my dress, which I've had hanging over me since January!

    Yup we did! That is very spooky!

    Our friends got engaged the same day on a seperate holiday (and the boys hadn't spoken about it previously!)
