RIP Jade, thinking of her boys and family today. Even though I knew it was coming, I am still quite shocked.

I've stayed away from the publicity (and the threads) but I did feel very sad for her and her boys this morning when I heard.

I am normally totally immune to celebrity news but this has all saddened me so much, she was so young. I do hope her family and children can be left to grieve in peace.

How on earth do you tell 2 wee boys that they won't see their Mum again? Absolutely heartbreaking.

I have just seen this too. Any day to die isnt nice, but mothers day must be hard.

A friend of mine mum died on mothers day about 4 years ago, not nice.

RIP Jade, its taken to lose your life to save a lot more ☹️

How very sad. I'm glad she died in her sleep, I think if we could all choose a way to go, that would be it.

I hope her family's request for priivacy is heeded and magazines/tv she has hd deals with recently don't think they have also bought a part of her after her death.

I'm glad it's over for her. Hopefully the family have already started to prepare the boys for this so it won't be a big shock for them, but still, how desperately sad. Hope their dad is able to give them the love and care they will need.

How very sad, and on Mother's Day too. Although expected, feel rather upset actually.

It's so sad, it almost doesn't seem real. She was so young, and for those poor boys to lose their mum on Mother's Day is a cruel twist of fate. RIP Jade.

I shed a few tears when my H told me the news this morning when I woke up. I don't know why it's hit me so hard but I've found the whole situation so heartbreaking. I'm so glad she's at peace now but I still find it hard to believe she's died. It's just tragic beyond belief.

How on earth do you find the words to tell 2 young boys they don't have their Mummy anymore on a day like today...any day to be honest.

So pleased she went in her sleep. No more suffering. No more pain.

Now getting to cull my friends list as idiots have sent invites to join a 'We hate Jade Goody' group...how I was ever friends with these people is beyond me. Utterly ridiculous. Feel free to add me again when you join the adult world...doubt I'll accept though.

I read in the paper that her two boys are aged four and five. My mum died when I was four and I have a very clear memory of my dad coming to tell me that she had died. Everyone was crying, including my dad of course, and I didn't really understand why. I didn't understand what her being dead meant and I cried because I thought I ought to, not because I was sad. It didn't really hit me what had happened and what I had lost until a few years later when my grandma, who was making a costume for me for a dancing display at school, said something about how my mum would have loved to have been doing this for me and how good she would have been at it. I suddenly realised that I had no mum to do things for me etc etc and I was devastated.

What I'm trying to say is that, although not in any way belittling their terrible loss, it may be that those two poor little boys are currently just confused rather than grief stricken, that may well come later and I hope they have plenty of support then if that's the way it goes.

Thanks RB. I was lucky, my grandma looked after me after my mum died and then when I was seven my dad remarried, my step-mum has been wonderful - she has always treated me as her own daughter and has been great all my life ❤️

I shed a few tears when I saw it on the news & although I didn't know Jade I have felt really affected by the whole thing I don't know why but its just been really upsetting. I think maybe its because she was only a couple of years older than me, I have a 2 year old son & I kept thinking what would I have done if I was in her position, knowing I wouldn't see my little boy grow up. How hearbreaking it must have been for her to know she would be leaving her boys.

I'm so glad she made it to Mother's Day & also she got married on Feb 22nd so she made it to her one month anniversary.

    RIP JADE!!!!
