Where did everyone look for wedding jewellery? I have my dress but now I need to decide on jewellery. Not sure if to have braclet or necklace yet. My dress:

Lovely dress, are you doing hair up or down?

I'm struggling on this too! I've sorted earrings but am getting boggled over what sort of necklace and if I even need a bracelet! I have a fairly similar shaped dress (with the large ruffles on the hips) so it'll be good to see to responses!

Hmmm I think keep your necklace quite fine and delicate, you don't want something big getting trapped in your hair, and you don't want to detract from the clean lines of the top of the dress. Something "streamlined" looking I reckon!

Its difficult isn't it, I don't like the earings on the model as I think they are a bit too much with all the detail of the dress. Think I may go with just a braclet and no necklace ut not sure.

For a wedding I recommend keeping it simple. Dont let the glitz and sparkle detract from the dress. My dress has pearl and diamante detail at the waist so I wanted something diamond or pearl. I have looked through my jewellery box and I already have suitable items. Dont feel pressured into having to have something new. I am wearing what I already have. It saves money and will look nice as I love the jewellery already.

I have been told though (by a jewellery seller at a wedding fayre) to opt for something that hangs down, ie something like this , if you're having a sweetheart neckline.

    Hi bristol 1984

I think something quite delicate would look nice with your dress, incorporating the diamante in the details but also pearls. My Hope range would be suitable:

Some brides opt for a Y shape necklace with sweetheart necklines but it really depends on the overral look you are wanting to create.

Do you have anything to wear in your hair that your jewellery needs to co-ordinate with?

If I can help at all please feel free to drop me an email on ****@***********.**.** - all items can be found on www.louloubelle.co.uk

Chedi - if you'd like any suggestions, you're very welcome to email over a photo of your dress and I can come back to you with some options.

I was planning some pearl and diamante jewellery from Poppy Sparkleshttps://www.etsy.com/shop/poppysparkles but my Mum bought me some gorgeous sapphire and diamond earrings for Christmas so i've bought a bracelet from Swarovski to match. I've still bought my bridesmaids their jewellery from Poppy Sparkles.

I'd also recommend Lou Lou Belle Smiley smile

    Hi,

Lovely dress. My daughter had a similar style and went for a traditional style of matching necklace and earrings with a few tiny accent crystals of the bridesmaid cobalt blue in it.Looked amazing. She had them made by a little handmade jewellery store in Watford.

Try Etsy! I couldn't find anything I liked going through conventional channels but found a handmade hairpiece and a vintage bracelet that were just perfect for my look! And I loved that I was able to support a couple of small businesses too.
