Jewellery and Tiara

LallyHay, 9 January, 2011 at 18:54 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi there,

I have no idea how to start looking for wedding jewellery & my tiara. My dress has this neckline:

and this detail:

I'm really not sure what style necklace to have and as for the tiara, I will have having hair up at the back with dangley/curcled bts at front and a low veil behind the hair that's up. I didn't like the tall blingy/princessey tiaras I tried in the shop. I'd quite like them to complement the detail on the dress (and i guess bracelet and earrings too). Any suggestions??

Thanks!

Would you consider a side tiara? I think I would say either starlight or dream bride https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/side_tiara_headbands.htm or for a low level tiara, the graduated tiara https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/simple_bridal_prom_tiaras.htm There will be plenty more ideas along shortly I am sure.

    Hi there

If you are not keen on princess style tiaras, a side tiara might be an option or a tiara band. A side tiara could echo the area of beading and embroadairy on your dress. A tiara band also works well with an up do.

A few ideas that spring to mind....

There are more side tiara designs here http://www.facebook.com/louloubelledesigns?v=photos#!/album.php?aid=33980&id=109659329056257 and I have access to a large amount of elements so could design something bespoke before you.

Alternatively, something like "Glamour Puss" is really versatile http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/tiaras_bands.html

With regards to jewellery, I think it would be best to decide on your tiara first then the jewellery can be designed/chosen to compliment your tiara and dress because if you went for a large statement piece in your hair you might want to consider something simpler for your jewellery. There are lots of ideas here in any case if you'd like a look http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_pendants_bridal.html

If you'd like any help or suggestions, please do drop me an email on ****@***********.**.**

    Hi,

Oh I like the side detail on your dress where it gathers.

Here are some ideas for you however I offer a free bespoke service so can talk to you about different ideas and come with up a new design with you in mind. All the designs can be adapted so if someone currently uses freshwater pearls and you'd prefer faux pearls or swarovski crystals that's fine to be.

This is 'Miya' which is designed with freshwater pearls and crystal rhinestones http://lynseysdesigns.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/fgallery/fim_photos.php?album=necklaces-bridal&image=Miya.jpg

Another with freshwater pearls and a Swarovski Crystal filigree focal centre

Swarovski Pearls with silver spacers and a diamonte flower clasp although the clasp can be changed

All the designs above aren't on my website yet but they can be found on my Facebook page which is www.facebook.com/lynseysdesigns1. Just email for prices. Loads more designs on my website as well www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk.

I think a side tiara would work well with your dress because it gathers at the side. Do you have any pics of the style you have in mind? One of my most popular side designs is 'Valentina'

    Or a single band

Or a double band without any side element is always gorgeous on This is Raef another hitcher

Have a look in here for pictures of my previous customers wearing designs - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=31431&id=138437779505448.

Sorry I've went overboard with pictures! I'd be delighted to chat to you about anything so please don't hesitate to email.

    Lynsey x
