Cracklin Rosie

Jewellery for this dress

Cracklin Rosie, 19 April, 2011 at 21:10 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi There,

I haven't been on here for ages (since I got married 2 years ago) but thought you might be able to help me, well my friend actually.

She's getting married and has picked her dress but is struggling with what to do about jewellery.

I'll try and post a pick of her dress. She's not a very girly girl and is looking for something simple and said she would prefer that it wasn't pearls. Not asking for much lol.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

    Hi,

Feel free to look at my website www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk and my facebook page as my previous bespoke designs for customers www.facebook.com/lynseysdesigns1.

How about a SATC inspired design

Or something like an illusion necklace

This is a fully beaded Swarovski Crystal necklace

All of the designs above were bespoke ones but I can give you prices if you wanted to email me.

    These are website designs

I mainly work on bespoke designs for brides so can chat to your friend about what she does and doesn't like and work on some mock ups for her to consider (no obligation at all on ordering with mock ups).

    Hope that helps. x

Thank you, I'll pass these onto her, they all look lovely, I think she'll struggle to choose.

    Hi there

The neckline looks quite high so I'm be tempted to go for a round necklace rather than a pendant.

"Essence" - this is really simple but very effective being worn

Or a crystal and rondell necklace like this bracelet

Would your friend consider a pearl and crystal necklace so that it didn't look like a pearl necklace as such but the pearls will break up the crystals? I think Stephanie would look lovely - or the pearl/crystals combination could be changed (I have just made a bepsoke piece in all crystals)

My website is www.louloubelle.co.uk if you friend would like a look. Happy to talk through bespoke ideas too - ****@***********.**.**

I echo what has been said about making sure the pendant and chain are short enough to ensure it is not too close to the bodice of the dress.

Here are some ideas from me:-

    Without the drop!

I have more ideas on my website - www.kebojewellery.co.uk

I actually have a page dedicated to what styles will work with certain dresses in my website https://www.taximystuff.co.uk/weddingjewellery.htm

    Hope this helps.
