Oh I like both of the top two- what is your opinion of breaking away from the traditional string of pearls or crystals to go with something a bit different like this? Should my bridesmaids really just stick to this sort of design?

I don't think there is anything wrong with a bridal wearing snowflakes at all and think it can look very nice.

I don't think it's unusual at all to wear something different, the 2nd one was worn by one of my customers for a Christmas eve wedding.

I was commissioned to come up with a multi strand pearl necklace with snowflakes and this what we came up with https://www.flickr.com/photos/tiararama/4105747493/ It's been so well received it's going into my 2010 winter collection. It's a standard 4 strand Swarovski pearl necklace with Swarovski crystal pendant drops. But you can have more crystal added or sterling silver beads if you wanted more sparkle.
