Jewellery HIBS - what have you got for me?!

mrsp2be2009, 10 March, 2009 at 20:59 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hiya.

I'm after some advice on what jewellery would go with my dress and I'd love to buy from one of you lovely ladies who post on here. I've (hopefully) attached a picture of my dress and I'm after a necklace, earings and a tiara. I'm thinking pearls and possibly a rice shaped pearl illusion necklace but I'm open to suggestions. I'd prefer silver to gold I think. Anyway, if anyone fancies a go, please tell me what you suggest.

Many thanks

Ok ... how about this as a necklace, but with oval freshwater pearls in a mix of sizes:

with one of htese earrings, but with a diamante on the hook or stud to match the sparkle on your dress:

If you wanted a smaller tiara, this is very popular and would look lovely with your dress:

or a fuller tiara that would look great:

Loads of other ideas but thats a start!!

    Hi,

Lovely dress especially the touch of sparkle I can see. My website is www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk but here are a few examples however I have heaps more designs on the website and also mainly work with bespoke designs so can create something different from what you see.

This necklace is made with large freshwater pearls so is too chunky against your delicate dress but just as an example of rice shaped pearls on an illusion setting

Or this which was designed for Boogiebelle and again uses freshwater pearls and is extremely pretty and elegant (my favourite pearl design).

All jewellery designs can have matching earrings and bracelets.

To compliment your sweetheart neckline a tiara with a gentle point always works well I feel. One similar to this would be lovely but the point doesn't need to be as obvious and I would suggest a slightly softer tip to it.

This is similar but has a more random design to it .

All tiaras can be adapted to suit using pearls and crystals and changing the height etc.

If I can help at all feel free to email me on ******@**************.**.**.

ETA: It is good to know what your hairstyle will be like as that can play a big factor in what your tiara is like so would be good to chat to you about that if you email me. For example I know I didn't want to have much height to my hairstyle so I have opted for a low tiara that is only 2cm tall and whilst it may be small it is still stands out with the right hairstyle.

Wow, stunning dress (I had a lace fishtail too, good choice ?)

I have a range called "Elizabeth" which seems to be what you are looking for. The Elizabeth range uses small (4-5mm) rice shaped freshwater pearls together with Swarovski AB crystals (which would pick up the sparkle on your dress beautifully).

Necklace: http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html#necklaces_elizabeth - the standard design is on clear thread but this can be made on silver jewellery wire if you prefer.

Earrings: http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/earrings_bridal.html#earrings_elizabeth - these can be made on fish hooks or ear posts depending on how dangly you want them.

Tiara: http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/tiaras.html#tiaras_elizabeth - the style of tiara depends on how you will have your hair. Something like this would work well with a half-up half-down hair style. This is just to give you an idea and of course the freshwater pearls and crystals can be incorporated into a different tiara design.

I also have a freshwater pearl and AB crystal illusion necklace on my new Sale Page. It uses the same materials as the Elzabeth range but is less detailed. http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/sale.html

Another alternative is the Grace range http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html#necklaces_grace - This can be made in glass pearls (top) or freshwater pearls (bottom)

Hope that helps a little. Please do give me a shout on ****@***********.**.** if I can help at all or if you'd like any more information.

    Hi there

As well as matching your dress, the shape of the tiara has to suit the shape of your face, which I cannot see! I will leave my website details, but for further advice best to email me.

    Many thanks and good luck.

    Hello

It is a shame you have covered your face as your face shape is actually one of the most important parts to consider when recommending styles. I designed a couple of pieces last year though for dresses similar to yours so if you would like to chat further about some options please feel free to drop me a line at ****@*********.**.**

Well I've got a few i can reccommend, but i also offer a bespoke custom made service, where I will design your jewellery exactly for your dress and style at no extra cost.

Here's Hope which can be made with or without the vine bit in the middle

Any of my illusion necklaces can be made with rice pearls, here is one of my most popular ones (Hera 4 strand):

My Mia Collarette would look stunning with that dress and can again be made using rice pearls:

Also my Harmonia Necklace which I gave to my maid of honour as a present and looks stunning:

Lots of options there for you but feel free to have a browse on my site and/or email me with some requirements.

Thank you lovely ladies. You all have some beautiful pieces, this decision is going to be tougher than I thought! For those who asked about my face shape, I'm not sure what shape it is but I've attached a pic with my face showing for a short time, but I'll take it off in a little while. Thanks again.

    Hello

Thanks for showing us you! It has helped to narrow down some ideas but I do have further questions which will affect my recommendations. How will you wearing your hair on the day and will you be wearing a veil and if you are what length will it be? Sorry for all the questions!

If it is easier drop me a line at the email address I provided earlier and then we can discuss ideas in a more timely and less fragmented way than via a forum as I am not always around.

Hiya. I'm not sure how I'll be wearing my hair on the day, I've got my trial in May. At the moment I'm thinking fairly casual and loose rather than really 'done'. Not sure if it'll be down or half up, I guess it depends on what she can do with my hair length. Also definitely no veil.
