jewellery style to go with headband

Gem_pegg2b, 5 May, 2012 at 16:05 Posted on Planning 0 5

Help . . . .I'm having difficulties in finding a jewellery to go with my headband (pic below ) i brought over a year ago . its stressing me out so much i have even thought about changing my headband .... Can anyone suggest anything that will go.

My dress is lace and am thinking small drop earrings and a cuff bracelet.thought it would be too much with a necklace too.

the headband has pearls added to the lace which is not shown below and my inital though was pearls but i dont want to over do it .

(the picture is not very clear but is clay floweers with lace at the back, with pearls )

Any suggestions or ideas would be great !

Thanks

    Hi,

I can certainly create a design with pearls including some in appropriate colours if you wanted to match the colours in your hairband. Using the fact your hairband has flowers here are some flower themed designs

If you would like any further information visit the website www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk however some of the designs above were bespoke so you can drop me an email for prices - ******@**************.**.**. Earrings can be made to co-ordinate any bracelet. x

Hi, It looks very vintage...have you thought of looking in vintage/charity shops at the second

hand jewellery? Something may leap out at you...perhaps you could have a necklace or bracelet made out of a ribbon or length of lace? I agree with small drops without a necklace,or studs with one would be ok. Perhaps a choker or cameo style? Good luck ! x

Do you a photo of your dress?

I think because the hairband is detailed and it is teamed with lace there will be enough going on without adding complicated jewellery. Personally I'd go for something really simple - classic pearl drop earrings and a two strand pearl bracelet.

If you did want a necklace, I can imagine that hairband with really long strings of pearls!

I don't think you should try to match it I would go for simple understated pearl jewellery this bracelet is very delicate with alternating rhinestones and white pearls

and a simple pearl drop set

    Hi Gem,

Either a row or two rows of pearls would work beautifully. I have some gorgeous designs on my site, anything can be customised, so if you see a design and want me to add another row, I can easily do that.

    I love these sets:
