Jewellery.......haven't the foggiest!

Hi Ladies

Am after some advice- I have the dress sorted and think I have decided on the tiara, but am struggling with the jewellery side of things. I'm trying to decide what necklace and earrings would go best with my dress, which has this detail on:

I think I have decided on this tiara:

I have realised that I'm not really keen on jewellery with pearls and really like the look of these, however I'm not sure if it would be sparkle overload?

Apologies if the pics are huge! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what may work with the dress and tiara?

Thanks in advance.x

How are you having your hair? To me that makes a difference about what/how much jewellery you should wear.

That's a good point...left that detail out! I have naturally curly hair about shoulder length which I will be wearing half up half down with some height on top. Will also be wearing a waist length veil which has some subtle diamante sparkle to it. There's just too many options!

Personally I think a round necklace might be a better choice as I'd be concerned that the drop on your necklace might drop to long down for your dress neckline. And I think a round style would suit your dress better. Just IMO.

    Hi,

Whilst the necklace and earring set is lovely I wouldn't put it with your dress unless you have a sweetheart neckline. I'm not really keen on long drop necklaces with a straight neckline as it doesn't really draw the eye down as well as it could.

I'd go with a round necklace and something fairly delicate (but not too fine the detail in the design can't be seen).

Here are a couple of suggestions from my website (www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk)

I've just made a necklace and backdrop like this without any pearls and the chain is Sterling Silver.

this can be made using crystals/rhinestones balls and no pearls

Feel free to drop me an email if you need further help.

    Thanks

I would agree with a round necklace. If you are still looking, have a little peek at my website to see if there is anything that you like - www.kebojewellery.co.uk

Thanks everyone, I see what you mean about the whole drop thing and the more I think about it, the more I think a round necklace would look better with the dress....will have a look at your websites and see what catches my eye! I think the reason I am struggling with pearls is because ivory ones seem to look too creamy against the dress and the white ones too white if you see what I mean- can anyone suggest which would work best?

    Thanks

I actually think a few pearls would look lovely with your dress :-)
