Jimmy Choo Brides

Amora Nail & Beauty, 15 April, 2014 at 18:56 Posted on Planning 0 7

Those of you that had Jimmy Choos for your wedding day did you get them resoled before hand? I know I will need them resoled after but do I need to do it before aswell. I am getting heel protectors so that I don't sink on grass.

No but I wish I was! Been seriously considering it, I'd want them to be super comfy for the price though and I'm worried they won't be!

    Which ones have you got?

I got married a couple of weeks and ago and didn't have them resold - am about to wear them to a friends wedding at the weekend - they're absolutely fine! x

Why would you need to get them resoled? I bought a pair of Margot JCs a few years back and they are still going strong, and are possibly the comfiest heels I've ever owned. Heel protectors would be good to stop you from sinking but otherwise your shoes should be just fine.

I have a few pairs of Choos (and I just bought my wedding shoes also from them). Unless it's going to be soaking wet on the day and you are going to be walking around outside you don't need to have them resoled. I have a pair of choos that I've been wearing for 3 years (admittedly on special occasions but I definitely walked around in them) and their sole is still fine. If you are worried that it's going to be very wet it makes sense, although the plastic soles are never as nice... Which choos are other ladies going for?

Thank you all that's been most helpful. I hadn't wanted to get them resoled before I'd even worn them so fab news!

Ha ha, I've literally just bought the exact same style but without the glitter... Getting married in June, I'll let you know how they hold up Smiley smile
