When we were in Majorca for my BMs hen we had a night out in Magaluf, was HILARIOUS and such a laugh. You'll have a great time!!

Was supposed to be going to give Notice of Marriage on Friday but have had to cancel as h2b now has to work.

Can't get in to see anyone now until 22nd of August, booooooo ☹️

Hey ladies - been a while since anyone posted on here...

How are all your plans going?

I don't feel like ive go t very far...

We have the venue, photographer and almost the entertainment but thats about it

H2B and myself have been spending AGES trying to arrange save the dates but its taking us forever- dunno why i decided to do it! We had a nightmare just trying to find a suitable glue!!!

Really don't know what to do next- have tried to give notice of marriage as our legal part and blessing/reception are on a seperate day but as i have just moved in with H2B i have no prrof of address...

really starting to get down now and don't know what to do next... I've been pushing the mister to at least start writing addresses on envelopes but we're both so drained at the mo.. NOT A GOOD MONTH

I haven't really done much either Meggles24.

Next thing on mys list is giving notice of marriage on 22nd August then nothing until Oct / Nov when I will be going fabric shopping for the bridesmaid dresses & going to the venue to pay the next installment off.

Feel like I'm just a bit stuck for things to do @ the moment.

Im also in a bit of a planning lol, got all big things done, most other things i cant do till a bit closer to time like order stationary and cake and things. just saving up at the moment. and dress shopping. which im now completely bored of because i just cant find anything i like. have found a dress in a magazine and the only place i can find which has it in stock is an hours drive away. i have a day off next week so might take a trip down there, but if i do end up buting it going to be a bit of a pain in the bum going for fittings . is there anybody else in july next year who hasnt got there dress yet?

Yeh im desperate to plan my next bit too! I went a bit crazy and did loads of researching in one week- which involved emailing 30 or so florists with my ideas amongst other things!

I've booked our time off work and flights for our honeymoon and next is the clothes, notice of marriage/food tasting/organinsing info for the invites etc...

I really wanna start dress shopping but i have 3 people (one travelling over 3 hours) that want to come shopping with me, My fear is that i won't find my dress on that one day and they'll all be disappointed. Its taken ages to find a date when everyone is free so i don't want to risk leaving it too late until we can all go again.I'd quite like to have an idea of which dresses i like before we all go out (mid October) but cant see that i'd have anyone free to come with me as they work weekends. Is it sad if i go out on my own and try some on? I really want it to be a special time- but i dont have that mnay girly friends around here as i recently moved to London. If i could- i'd have my H2B come with me as i know he'll give an honest opinion and has great taste, but i really want it to be a surprise...

Planning is going pretty well thanks. Have to organise the DJ but apart from that we are more or less done.

Invites are made but not sent out.

Any idea when they should go out for July brides? What timing have other JUly ladies got planned?

Ive been very productive recently since the arrival of my dress before christmas.....Ive bought my Bridesmaids dress, Firebags, invites are going to be printed in the next couple of weeks, sorted the menu for Wedding Breakfast.

Currently im compiling the adresses etc and looking for our Younger Bridesmaids dresses.

Next on the list is Menswear, Rings

Karen im sending my invites out Mid Feb with an RSVP for May our wedding is the 17th July i think its personal preferenc and what makes you feel comfortable, im Miss Organised therefore want to get everything sorted and know who's coming asap, some people choose to send them later my friends wedding is in June yet she hasnt sent her invites yet and isnt planning to till April?!!!?

Hey July girls ?

I wish I was Miss Organised like some of you! I think the next 6 months will be pretty busy for me - top of my list is bridesmaids at the moment, once I get them sorted I'll be able to get more into things as I'll be 100% sure of colours, etc.

As for invitations, I'm aiming to send mine out in the middle of March, RSVP date end of May. Our wedding is 25th July.

I'm planning to send out invites end of Feb, with a response date for end April - but OH is looking after them, so goodness knows when they'll be ready.

What colour bm dresses are you looking for, poster that's having problems?

Hey i'm on 17th july too! reading this thread has made me SOOO stressed now! ok i've done venue, dress, cake, florist, rings, registrar, honeymoon... designed BM dresses but not ordered, arranging meetings with photographers for next few weeks, booked to give notice on 4th Feb, chosen invites but not ordered, got DJ quotes but still deciding. got to do hair/makeup artist and videographer.

H2B is meant to be doing the men's suits, the hotel room and the wedding cars - don't think he has even started!

and now thinking of so many last minute things - table plan, guest book, table numbers. aaah everyone is so organised!

am sending out invites mid-March for RSVP by 30 May...

Cant believe how quickly time is flying by my aim is to have all things weddingy completed by june so i can chill in the month leading up to it im not v good with stress and either get Coldsores or Colds that lead to Chect infections so stressless WP is in need although dont think there is such a thing?!!!??

definitely is no such thing! especially when i constantly question and overthink every tiny decision - i can't help it!!!! people are like 'oh it's just one day' but it jusnt isn't! would be great to be done by june and i am defintely planning to be able to relax and have a few massages and enjoy my hen night etc!

our tickers are really scaring me!!!

Haha think i shouldn't have asked! I feel so far behind!

We have a tasting booked and sorted accommodation. not looked at invites yet tho and not bough accessories or sorted hair and makeup!

My dress arrives end of march b ut i don't think i need alterations so all good there!

We have a registry ceremony the day before so it feels like im planning 2 weddings as i have to sort accomodation and transport between the two venues and meals etc! Havent even began to think of what i'll wear to registry as we're having no photographers and i'm saving my dress for my big day the following day!

You'll be just fine! how about a pretty floaty summer dress? maybe even with a nice hat to jazz it up? or even a white summery dress? have a look at Coast - got a pretty decent sale on (just seen a really pretty black n white polka dot dress for me!) and Monsoon does some...

i often see people wearing pastel coloured suits, could be an option if you like them?

I'm 6ft tall size 10 so hopefulyl will look ok- i often thnk that sorta thing looks best on curvy women however am emailing that link to my best friend as we speak!!!

Im sending my invites out end of February. Thye are in the process of being made and we were going to send them out end of march, but wre found out that theres a rock festival in stevenage the same weekend think its called sonisphere ad it may or may not affect the accommodation in the area as there an a road connecting the two places, so we are sending out invites a month earlier to give guests a chance to book rooms.

Got to sort out mens suits and wedding rings next i think
