July 2013 brides

So how is everyone getting on with the paying/ planning etc?

We have all the major things booked we just have all the little extras / pretty bits to do now. I feel a lot less stressed now everything is booked.

The only thing we are having major issues with is chair covers? Our company has let us down and double booked :/ so we need to find someone else. who are you all using? I'm in Kent.

Also how are people sitting people on the table plans. not sure whether to put people who know each other together or put them separately.

Just had my hair and make up trial! Hair is good, not sure about the makeup. Decided to have a trial so that I can see what it would be like as I don't normally wear make up. Whilst it does look quite nice and when I take photos it stops me looking shiny - I look kind of orange.....whilst in photos it does not look orange, I am concerned that as my dress is strapless my face will look a different colour to the rest of me! I do not want to have a fake tan done and I don't tan!

Is the solution not to have foundation? help!!

Beware of the fake tan....my friend had one and looks pretty orange in her wedding pics, plus it rubbed off bit on the dress. Maybe just need a sightly different colour foundation?

I had trial too and thought too much make up... will ask her to tone down the blusher I think.

How is everyone else getting along with the preparations?

How have I never seen this July thread before!

I'm pretty much there now. Everything is paid just need to sort the music out next week. I'm losing my job on saturday (2nd time this year) so that's a bit of a downer, but I'm hoping to be on a wedding high so I won't be too upset.

Then on the wedding week monday me and my Mum will be ironing all the mens suits, the wednesday me and my Sister will be baking favours and putting them into the jars and then the thursday me and Mum will be driving nearly everything down to the hotel in Dartmouth ready for the wedding the next day

It's come round so fast - I'm excited and really nervous at the same time!

Wedding on Saturday feeling Excited but mega tones of actual work to do and just the odd bit for wedding. An d just realised i have meetings tuesday /wednesday and then a training day Thursday - then off friday - this might actually fly by
