Jumper dresses

I like jumper dresses, but unless they are definite 'dress shape' I cant wear them I have wide hips and a big bum, but a small waist and am quite chesty. Jumper dresses tend to hug the big bits and make the small bits look bigger. So I just look big!

I love them, but I'm 6 foot tall and yet to find a jumper dress that is dress length on me *sigh*

Exactly this I am a proper hour glass (a big hour but hey ho) so I only like the ones shaped like dresses on me but I do love them. I see other people in ones Ilike too but they would make me look massive.

When mine aren't dress shaped - I use a big belt, and make it dress shaped

I can't find any I like!! booo. I'm still stuck in my summer dresses with the addition of tights and uggs... a most professional look!

I love the first one. I've never owned such a peice but I think I'd suit one, hmmm I'm thinking potential xmas day outfit. So you'd wear tights and boots??

Top one I have worn with tights and both flat casual boots or high suede boots.

Green one with tights and flat bikers. It's too chunky to wear with posher shoes (would look OK with masculine brogue type shoes but they aren't for me!).

Bronze one (today) over skinny jeans and biker boots.

Fourth one (not shown) over jeans and pumps.

I have soooo many jumper dresses. They are my fashion staple in the winter ?

I love them but can't wear them. I carry most of my weight on my tummy and just look ludicrously rancid in them.

Oh I too have bought four in the past month! I wear them with jeans though, didn't occur to me they could be a dress?!

I normally wear them with really really thick tights and boots

Ok Tray, I shall put on one with some thick tights tonight and see if it looks scary or not!

ATB you could try them with leggings too.

I love jumper dresses but find a lot of them are too short on me to be worn with leggings or tights. I don't like wearing them with jeans either but I don't know why

I love jumper dresses. With tights or leggings, and can get away with them for work.

this winter I've decided to wear dresses and skirts rather than trousers as I hate my thighs. Jumper dresses feature muchly in my wardrobe.

Hmm, this is me too but I love jumper dresses, they are my winter uniform with thick black tights (work) and leggings (cas) - what is not to love about cosy, easy to wear comfort? ? I have 6 in various levels of flattering!

Can't wear them as get too hot! Need to layer and cant remove a jumper dress and wander around in my bra and tights...
