June 2012 brides- where are you up to?

Well we havent had anything to do recently as the majority of things have already been done/booked. We went to give notice recently and have purchased all bits for the invitations. I have bought some personalised dressing gowns for my BM and some little thankyou gifts for my hens. Honeymoon is booked, it's really a case of saving some more to pay it off now! ☹️

I want to do something productive but there isn't anything! hehe

I'll be going shopping after christmas with my CBM to see if we can get my two FG dresses in the sales, possibly Monsoon as they had lots in last year.

After the bridesmaid dresses, this will be me too!

Ive already got the BM sorted and their accessories. Got the favours ready to make up and purchased lots of finishing touches for the venue. We were so organised, I m sure we wont be when it becomes a month until the wedding. Looks like you get married a week after us! ?

Hi were getting married 2nd june, we still need to book a band, car and sort mens suits and choose bridesmaid dresses...plus all the little details and make all my own stationary! i better get a move on

I think once you've booked the band and car you can probably relax a bit with the other things, it'll be nice to still have a few bits to sort out maybe? I'm only doing the BM dresses now as one of my BM is back from Singapore for 2 weeks and it may be the only chance we get!

I can't get my OH to agree on a suit, he is useless at making decisions. I can see it being a last minute dash for something!

We're getting married on 22nd June 2012. I've just bought my bridesmaid dresses this week, total bargain from L.K.Bennett, so pleased with them, just hope they all fit! Still to book band, cars, honeymoon, flowers and buy my ring, shoes and accessories and sort out the invitations and all the decorative stuff, although have made a bit of a start with that. I can't wait til after Christmas and then the fun can really begin, still feels a bit too far off!

I'm the 25th so I'm only a couple of days later than you! It does feel an age away still, but I bet after Christmas we will all feel like we've loads to do again!

Well done on getting a bargain on your BM dresses, how many BM's have you got?

When are you going to send your invites out? I was thinking of sending mine in January with an RSVP of end of February.

Some days I feel really organised and other's not at all!

I’ve booked our venue, hair and makeup, cars, church (actually I’ve provisionally reserved it as you can only book it 6 months in advance), have sent Save the Dates and finally know what I want our cake to look like. We have a baker but no quote yet. I'm also still working on finding the right florist. I do though have our DJ and the lanterns I wanted as part of our centrepieces.

I don’t have a dress, shoes accessories... anything for me really! No BM dresses or accessories or men’s suits. Also haven’t chosen stationary or menu's.

I started with a flourish and did loads so now I am taking it a bit easier as I was scared I’d run out of things to do.

I also think I will send invites in Jan or possibly December, because we’re abroad we need all the notice possible to make sure we can afford coaches etc.
