I'm June 2013 too!! the 20th. We are getting married at Cooling Castle Barn in Kent!

How are you getting on so far?

Seems quite slow going as we're buying a house at the mo too! Almost ready to send the Save the Dates out, and going to start looking at dresses in the next few weeks hopefully. How are you getting on?

Oh exciting!

Put a deposit down on my dress, the photographer and today the chair cover people! Also think i have a found a hair and MUA. I have seen a lot of people say MUA's get booked up early so thinking i may as well pay the deposit which covers the trial but it feels a bit early! got so into the planning 'm going to run out of things to do in a month or so!

Oh and trying to make a brooch bouquet but not getting to far with that!!!

I am getting married 29th June 2013. I have booked my venue, photographer, videographer and chair covers. I also have a veil and shoes (but no dress!). I've also got a few decorations. I have almost finished preparing my save the dates. I would recommend booking your photographer as soon as you can, as they get booked up quickly, and also cars if you are having them.

8th June is my birthday! and I'm getting married 22 June 2013 at Hever Castle, Kent!

Other than venue we've sorted our photographer and DJ, and I've bought a dress from BHS and some vintage lace to customise it, and I made matching birdcage veil and a fabric bouquet I've been a busy little worker bee, but it's been so much fun!

lgm19, Lady_Lyla is making a fab brooch bouquet, she might be able to help you out. The trick was to use fake hydrangeas as a base, and they're so cheap from wilkinsons!

Thanks, it was a bit of a pain at first, but once I started it actually ended up being a lot of fun and quite straight forward. I gather the toughest thing about the brooch bouquets is finding enough brooches for them!

Okay I'm panicking slightly now LOL!

I'm getting married the 29 June, so have booked venue, photographer and dj. Organised hairdresser, got wedding dress, shoes, veil, bridal jewlellery, tiara and hoop. Cake boxes, thank you cards, save the date, and place cards, future husband shoes, wedding rings, bridesmaid jewellery and hair accessories, guest book, engraved cake knife and post box . Busy busy

Im getting married 15th June at Port Lympne Mansion Kent, we only got engaged last week but I have sorted the venue, menu, bridesmaids dresses and cake. Just waiting for Bridesmaid dresses to arrive so I can match everything to the same shade of purple.

It's all soo exciting!

HI I was looking for other June 2013 brides and found this post so thought I would give it a 'bump' and see if there are any more June 2013 brides out there? We are getting married on June 21st, summer solstice and a Friday, in Devon.

Venue, photographer and disco is booked, as is florists. I have not decided on much else yet, or picked a dress. Looking at what others have done I'm feeling slightly panicky. How is everyone else getting on? Do I have a date twin?

I'm new to Hitched today and will (hopefully!) be a June 2013 bride too! We've provisionally booked with church and venue, going to view the venue properly next week to hopefully confirm

I feel a long way behind everyone else as we only got engaged last week but hopefully I'll manage to get things booked up/sorted soon!

Congratulations Rochelle and welcome to Hitched! I am fairly new here myself but everyone is very helpful and friendly. I've learnt loads and gots lots of great ideas from other Hitchers.

I'm getting married 8th June too! At The Grange, in Northwood, Hertfordshire.

I've only got church and venue booked, but suppose I should start getting a move on and sorting out photographer/florist etc!

We are getting married at a church near my parents house and our venue is at Brooklands Museum!

Ive got the Save the dates sorted, tog, videographer, dj,band, hair and mua, shoes, transport(fire engine for my OH and the car in that Colin Firth uses in the Kings speech) :-) also got the mens favours - old school foam aeroplanes

Ive sort of lost the will to plan much right now, i do shift work, OH is on opposit rota and we have to redecorate and rip out the kitchen and bathroom in the next few months, need some inspiration!!

Hi June Brides!! I'm getting married on 21 June - we're date twins Annie K!

Had accountancy exams recently and now feeling slightly panicked as had to put planning on hold for a month, but been back on it this week.

So far I've booked the venue, church, chair covers, photographer and videographer.

Off dress shopping with my BMs this Saturday

I should be getting married on 14th June next year When I say should, that's if the wedding ever gets planned - we've been engaged since end of December last year, with only the reception venue booked and church provisionally booked so far ? Glad to know I'm not the only one at these early stages, but definitely in the minority! We're having the reception at Monkey Island near Maidenhead

June 22 here!! booked the venue and thats it really, ive been experimenting with making my own invites and stuff. and searching for a dress but not much else set in stone as yet. best get a wriggle on ur all so organised!

I'm 22nd June as well so far got: venue, catering, bar, dress, photographer (who luckily is my brother!) um...I thought I was more organised by maybe that's it!

I am pretty new to this but i'm getting married June 22nd 2013 . I'm really excited to see people who are getting married around the same time (and on the same date!!)
At the moment i am feeling pretty prepared! I have sorted: church, venue (inc food and dj etc), were getting married in a church in Sale and then going to Cheadle House. We also have sorted the cars, wedding dress, cake, honeymoon and photographer. Had my other half in suits the other day it was all very exciting - he scrubs up very well (although i am a bit biased).

I sent out save the dates a few months ago (as we actually booked the wedding in January), starting to think about littler things now e.g. favours etc some of the ladies on here have given some great hints and tips!!

Yay nice to have a few date twins! Well I've moved house and been on holiday, so the wedding is now the main focus - just over 10 months to go!

Ordered my dress yesterday. Venue has been booked for a while (Alderley Edge Hotel), Save The Dates are sent, photographer is sorted, found bridesmaids dresses I love in Coast but just need a proper fitting appointment, and have ordered a few venue decor items to see what they look like! My fiance says I need a spreadsheet - I think he might be right!!

What colour theme etc are you going for? I managed to get my bridesmaid dresses last week in the sales (very happy)!

so far i have booked:- venue, registrar, hotel wedding night, bridesmaid dresses (but bm havnt tried them yet so may go back. Tried a few dresses but not found 'the one' yet, off shopping again 1st September. going to book honeymoon at end of August.

My colour scheme is green and pink, nice shades so not as odd as it may sound! Bridemaids will hopefully be in a Thyme colour.

Congratulations to all of the brides getting married! I am also a 29th June 2013 bride! I'm getting married at the Glen Yr Afon House in Usk, our colour scheme is duck egg blue and so far I have sorted:

Venue, Registrar, Cake, Dress, Suits, Photographer, Bride's ring, Guest list.

Invitations are getting there and the catering is all sorted within the venue, which just needs to be finalised.

Stressing mostly over the bridesmaids' dresses! I have four adult bridesmaids and struggling to find dresses that are affordable in our colour scheme. I've asked the girls to help out with the cost and they have no problem with that but I know there's a line in regards to price. I just don't know how much more I can afford with four bridesmaids! Help!

Any tips from anyone would be helpful.

I'm a June 2013 bride too! I'm getting married on the 28th June, So far we have booked our church and dj. I am paying the rest of my dress off this week, going to see a florist tomorrow and hopefully metting up with a potential photographer this week too.

We have chosen our bridesmaid dresses and colour scheme. Have decided on a style for our flower girl dresses. Have brought our favours started buying bits for our centre pieces and started making our invites.

Also decided on some cake ideas and requested a quote for a custom made cake.

Oh and brought the bridesmaids jewellry.

When i say 'we' what i mean is me as my OH is not overly involved in the decisions hes letting me get on with it!

I'm a 29th June bride too!

We're getting married in Whitstable...there seems to be a lot of Kentish brides here. The only thing we've booked is the venue. Have just sent out my save-the-date cards, we handmade these with tiny bunting on (am quite proud!)

I've booked the ceremony, reception, photographer. got 2 dresses (don't ask - that's the bit that's stressing me out!), the save the dates have been sent, got the parts to make the invites.

Does anybody else keep being told that you're leaving it quite to book things? I thought I was quite organised but apparently not!

Zoeah I know how you feel! I've got quite a bit booked, haven't sent out save the dates yet but hoping to do it by the end of this month. In the process of making them myself, just hope it looks nice printed! I've got a wedding book which lists all of the things needed for a wedding, I feel so organised for having booked major things but then I look in my book to see how much else is left to do and I think "oh crap!" Lol!

Hi we are getting married on 15th June 2013 in Scarborough. 15th June is also the day of my birthday so double celebrations for us.

We have everything booked and sorted just got the bridesmaids dresses to get and the cake maker to book everything else is done.

We are having royal blue dresses for bridesmaids with yellow and ivory flowers.

Glad I'm not the only one who hasn't sent the save the dates out yet - we've had the postcards printed from vistaprint for ages but I've been stalling on the decision on who to send them to (just day or evening too) but finally decided a different poem for each, so just got to get them printed, decide on magnets or not (I think yes, OH thinks no) and get them out.

I've looked at some online wedding to-do lists and with 10 months to go I seem to be about on track, but still seem to be so far behind most of you ladies. To keep me calm, I take a minute to think that we have the most important stuff already, which is ourselves and somewhere to get married, but then I think of the hundreds of jobs left to do and panic again!
